This must be in northern Illinois, I’ve never heard of elk being there, or wolves. A cousin of mine says her husbands brother encountered a Sasquatch in his yard. He was on a riding lawn mower, cutting grass along where the yard meets a corn field. He says it stepped out of the corn and looked at him. He ran into his house, never saw it again I guess. I believe he lives in the Champagne area, about 45 miles north of where my family lives.

Probably someone had an Elk Ranch. There use to be one near me by West Milton, OH on the 571 for years. I would stop on my motorcycle by the fence and they would come up and we would look each other over. What great majestic animals they are. A couple years ago the ranch converted over to cattle, what a shame and never new the reason why. Neat sighting by your cousin’s husband Lisa. They go to great lengths to not be seen and then one just steps out as if to say here I am.
