I hit a “creature” that was carrying a deer

“I was driving home through the mountains, from a concert last night, on Route 8 in Hamilton County, NY and at 12:37 a.m. I hit a “creature” that was carrying a deer, with my car. My car is damaged from the hood to the rear by this creature and I know it is at the least injured and its DNA may be on my car. The speed limit was 55 and I was not able to stop in time.

When I saw the creature, who was carrying a deer, about to step into the roadway I hit the brakes but was only able to slow down minimally before impact. I did not really believe in Bigfoot before last night and I am still shaken up and have not been able to share this story with anyone. I wanted to stop and see if the creature was okay, but I was scared out of my wits to stop and get out of the car. The creature was huge, at least 7.5 feet tall. I’ve seen drawings and such of Bigfoot, and this creature looked similar, but had white around his hairline, and his fur was dark brown, almost black.

I’m shaking writing this and I am in such disbelief that this happened to me. I can’t even report the accident to the police, and I don’t know what I will tell my insurance company. My car is totaled, the creature crushed my windshield wipers together, broke many pieces of the passenger side and left smears of dirt and blood all over the rear window.”

Joann I agree ,first things first glove up and get that blood sample ,that alone may help the insurance claim I would just make sure to take pics. of the bloody damage before I started taking the DNA
      samples.

Then what’s stopping you? Biggest downside is you might be proven wrong… Not that big of a deal compared to the downside of doubting things that are true which has the downside of restricting your worldview to that which you are already certain of which seems like a tragic life-limiting downside compared to occasionally believing someone who later turns out to be a lying bastard… Plus next time you’ll be that much better educated about the traits of lying bastards. Good deal all around… I say go ahead and believe who you are inclined to believe or want to believe. I’ll back you up.

Things to think about. Car is totaled yet you were able to drive it? Everyone is going to ask you about your vehicle. If you lie about what happened to people you know? How can we determine if you are not lying about this story? Do us a favor, take a photo of the vehicle that you were able to drive out of there so I can get a better picture of what you are talking about. Make me wrong, I wish you would, because I do want to believe but there are certain things you wrote that don’t pass the smell test for me yet. Glad your ok.

Totaled in the auto industry only means total, if the cars value exceeds 75% of what the cars value is worth. And yes a car can get totaled only on cosmetic issues by itself. I know this because I am a collision tech, and have seen many cars get totaled for non-structural components only, such as hitting a deer, elk, human, etc…. yes a lot of people use the term totaled loosely, as there knowledge on this topic is minimal.

A car can be determined ‘totaled ‘by the insurance companies and still be drivable ,, sometimes it’s just too expensive to fix vs. the age of the vehicle . Totals ld doesn’t always mean undrivable.

My 2011 Jetta I use for a company car was totaled in 2013 with 40,000 miles on it by a hail storm. had 3 hail dents that bent the frame around and above the door on the edges of the roof. Otherwise it was just hail dents and busted front and rear windshields. I just bought it from the insurance company for $1800 and replaced the glass. Yeah, its got like 13 dents in it total, but they didn’t crack the paint and I still have a perfectly good work car. Way I see it, I got a brand new work car that ended up only costing me about 5 grand when all was said and done.

The point is, a car can often be totaled purely for cosmetic reasons. The insurance company ruled that the only way to repair those dents was to cut off and replace the entire upper body since they were on the edge or seams.

Also, people tend to use the term “totaled” loosely for just being all scratched and banged up.

Try to get her on Wes, this would be really good. Glad she’s ok, I would not have gotten out either. It’s nice that people who are scared to share their stories with others have you as the alternative.

Gather as much DNA evidence, as you can. Take the car to the insurance company, tell them that you hit a deer. Hopefully, you have full coverage on the car. If you have liability on the car, you are pretty screwed. Good luck and God bless.

Remove all and any Stickers or Disability window cards, which have ID serial numbers of which you can and your vehicle can be identified, though them.
Next cut out two license plate sized cardboard cards, then duck tape them to cover your License plate Vehicle ID numbers, then locate your vehicle outside where the woods are the background / back drop. Make sure no vehicles or home addresses are in the camera view / range of view. This will be the first step to you privacy and protection from harassments.

-From that point, sit down and consider all options, the pro and the con of reporting it. If you do or not, with sterilized cloves and sterilized tweezers (gather up, hair / blood samples, the hair follicles are the most valuable. Any flesh, any blood, make several DNA evidence samples, take samples to your back and opened obtain a safety deposit box, with a duel key access, take your key and give it to you sister or someone very close, have them open a safety deposit box at their back in which another few sealed baggies of DNA material and your Safety deposit box key are all together to be entered.

-Tell the loved one, close trusted friend, very little if anything, it must remain a secret as possible; do not disclose any of it over the phone or internet. So one else will need to post to help you to figure out your issue with and dealings with your car and the car Insane agent, but, because the fact was that a deer was involved, you need only to mention that you ‘Hit A Deer’, and need not mention the deer was being carried by a unknown species / Monster, because I can say that if you mention the Sasquatch was hit and did the damage to your car, your insurance investigator ‘Will Deny you your claim’. It was a Deer that you have hit. You were so shaken up about possibly killing the deer that you were in shock and therefore failed to tell the police or call the insurance agent to report it. Happens all the time / Azs hereby Saved, good luck.

If this really happened a huge opportunity was missed. However there is something else to think about. What if the person had contacted the police. Police take blood sample and find out it is human type blood during MtDna testing like what Dr. Ketchum found. Oh my a full blown possible homicide investigation is brought forward and with no body who knows where it would have gone.

Lol! Pap yeti, it seems that you may have done a little “spook”, work. Good job on your advice to the woman. And seriously, James M, you want to talk about scary, just wait, Jesus will return; not as a lamb to the slaughter for the sins of man, but as the ultimate Warrior! Get ready; soon coming to a town near you.

yep insurance company ‘totalled’ my ute due to the back canopy etc getting smashed – noting wrong at all with the engine and drove as well after the accident as before. still got written off though.

I hope the person in question collected blood, hair etc off the car – and they could easily just tell their insurance company they hit a deer. no prob’s.
