I had a run in with a juvenile

A listener writes “I was just listening to your last show (ep 394) about the lady that was doing the army field operation near wickiup lake outside LA Pine OR.

I myself have had a run in with a juvenile less then a mile from where she was (I know where the guard used to do their field ops out there) as well as another “non sighting” encounter not far from there on Widigo Mtn (ironic name right?) Besides myself though I honestly know dozens of people in La Pine that have had sightings and full on encounters with these creatures (we call them Brush Bastards) in the immediate area. Mostly loggers.

My dad had his 1st road crossing on the Cascade Lakes highway when he was still in school and has the craziest stories about forest mumbling and samurai chatter. There is a story of a log truck driver that hit one in his truck on hiway 31 in the 80’s. Absolutely totaled his Peterbilt log truck. Had to write that one off as an elk for the insurance. My good friend can take you up on Davis Mtn and if there is snow on the ground he can find tracks. Never fails.

On top of that a quick Google search brings up so many different encounter in the La Pine area from all of the different shows out there that when you a take a look at the big picture you start to see what us in La Pine have always known. La Pine is one of the biggest Hotspots in the Pacific Northwest.

Just food for thought”

I saw what I can only call a young Sasquatch up close in the open in daylight back around ’93 in middle TN. I’m always eager to hear more encounters with the little ones!
