Grover Krantz Interview

Grover Sanders Krantz (November 5, 1931 – February 14, 2002) was an American anthropologist and cryptozoologist; he was one of few scientists not only to research Bigfoot, but also to express his belief in the animal’s existence. Throughout his professional career, Krantz authored more than 60 academic articles and 10 books on human evolution, and conducted field research in Europe, China, and Java. He was a member of Mensa and Intertel, high-IQ societies.

Outside of Krantz’s formal studies in evolutionary anthropology and primatology, his cryptozoological research on Bigfoot drew heavy criticism and accusations of “fringe science” from his colleagues, costing him research grants and promotions, and delaying his tenure at the university. Further, his articles on the subject were rejected by peer-reviewed scholarly journals.

We are told over and over to “follow the science” but that community eats their own voraciously….. sadly it’s not limited to his experience, every branch of the science does this to what they have deemed “the fringe”…. I believe that’s exactly where all the answers lie! Time to think outside of our box

(New Jersey) Tarra, that is so nicely expressed. And so True! However, with regard to Sasquatch, I don’t think we really
need to “think outside the box.” We just need to open our eyes and our minds.

Some people should live forever. Dr. Grover Krantz was one of them.
It’s so unfair to sit on your laurels, criticize, condemn and dismiss people who are smarter than you are just because they have an adventuresome spirit, investigate the unknown in the name of science, and believe when victims of monstrous attacks are brave enough to tell their stories. These “scientists” act more like bigots. Anybody can do that.

I concur and very well stated by the great members above. In modern day this may have started when Sir Issac Newton took control of The Royal Academy of Science and he and his cronies were the purveyors of all that is true and not true. If you can not put it on a slab and examine and measure it with eyes and instruments, then it can not be. However I think we are moving into a new time as we are finding that the universe is not only stranger than most think, but is stranger than we can imagine.
