Gold In Iraq

A listener writes “I was listening to episode 566 and one of the things Talon brought up was the gold bars in Iraq and how getting them out may have been a cause for the war. I have some first hand experience with this.

I was on the first Operation Iraqi Freedom rotation in Kirkuk Iraq, attached to the 173rd Airborne as the Platoon Sergeant of their only Military Police assets during that period in 2003.

If Wes wants to hear more, he can contact me. I have a picture of me sitting on one of the loads of gold we came across. It did happen. I don’t know if that was the cause of anything, but there was gold.”

_and, lots of mysterious artifacts. The library was sacked – the books, complex plans (for new Babylon), art, sculpture, statues, and other (hidden) items taken, it’s been stated. Among those things taken, the remains of the first world dictator, Nimrod_aka_ Gilgamesh.
