Friday night’s show: The Watcher in the Woods

miked

Friday night I interview author Michael Dupler. Michael wrote the book The Watcher in the Woods: A Case for the Existence and Intelligence of Sasquatch.

Come explore Bigfoot territory with Michael Dupler as we examine the evidence supporting the existence of this rare and elusive creature from folklore, history, investigations and reported sightings, and learn how this giant could communicate and use skill and cunning to remain hidden in plain sight. The mystery of Sasquatch is approached with an inquisitive passion that has led to startling conclusions and brought forth intriguing theories regarding the intelligence and demeanor of this creature.

These animals are the absolute masters of their craft. Some of us like to believe that we’re more intelligent than these animals. But their intelligence and our intelligence are completely different and not really comparable. We’re masters of the subjects that our ancestors created (math, science, construction, etc.) and they’re masters of the subject that mother nature has created. If that makes sense. And also they have been known as The Watchers by multiple Native American tribes. To show traits like being able to make observations, read body language, have patience, remain incomparably elusive being as large as they are takes a certain skill set that very few animals (including ourselves) can obtain and also takes a great deal of intelligence that far surpasses most if not all of the animal kingdom. These animals are unbelievably unique which is one of the many reasons they’re so fascinating and alluring

I want that book. After buying about fifty I started borrowing from the library. They don’t have the Missing 411 books but I’m trying to get enough requests for them to buy them.
