Friday Night Show: Hunters Encounter Aggressive Group of Sasquatch

I have a great show coming up this Friday night for the members. I spoke to Chris from Nevada who talks about a night he will never forget. Like many witnesses, he has suffered some psychological trauma from this aggressive encounter. He’s a life long hunter and outdoorsman, and now has had little desire to return to these areas, that he has enjoyed most of his life.

There is more to this story but here is a brief synopsis of what happen.

Night shot in the Jarbidge MountainsChris and his stepdad were out hunting and in a remote location. They had setup a makeshift shelter than consisted of a tarp. Christ says “It was 10-15 minutes tops, from when I laid down and I started hearing movement outside the tarp and began hearing the squishing of the mud under something’s feet. It was moving very stealthily and came up to within a few feet of the tarp directly behind my head and stopped. I’m lying there trying to decipher the sound I just heard and the tarp starts being pushed down at my mid section.

It was pushed down about a foot and me not thinking at all and really freaking out on the inside without making noise on the outside reacted and swatted at the pushed down area and hit something pretty hard that hurt my hand. The tarp went back up immediately and what was standing there shuffled back and smacked the tarp directly behind my head causing me to let out an “AHHHHHH!!!!!!” sound and I consequently re-chambered a round into my Glock .45.”

There was several creatures that night messing with Chris and the camp. Chris says “So that crap keeps going on for a while, and I keep trying to wake my stepdad to no avail. During one of the silent periods the one behind me started to urinate just feet from my head. That put a whole new scared into me for some reason. The volume had to be 2 or 3 times that of a man urinating. to me it sounded like a horse or a big bull urinating. I also need to say that the tarp was over 7 feet off the ground were this thing pushed down on it earlier. I couldn’t do it and I’m 6’3″ and 305 pounds and this thing outside has me feeling like an infant to give a better feel to the whole situation.

After it urinated I was really freaking out. 1 maybe 2 steps from having a complete breakdown. I was shaking with tears rolling down my face and my nose running like a child. I’m not ashamed to say that either. It was truly the scariest thing I have ever experienced in my life and it was happening 100 miles from nowhere in the dark with multiple Sasquatches!!! It got quiet after it urinated for a short time then it started breathing deeply and heavily when I made another attempt to wake my stepdad again. It had a real menacing sound to it and then the other two swatted around the tarp some more. It got quiet again and then from in front of me this time another one or more started throwing rocks and debris at us and it was hitting the tarp from all over from in front of me. It stopped shortly after and got real quiet the two behind my stepdad moved back quite a bit it seemed and they started throwing our firewood around and stomping on the ground and breaking tree limbs”

Chris was finally able to wake his step dad up and with their guns and flashlights they exited their shelter to find several large barefoot tracks all over their camp. Chris says “We climb out and there’s tracks everywhere, good tracks, bad tracks, tracks with claws coming off the toes. Our firewood is everywhere, and a big chunk was torn off a tree from approximately 11 feet up. To my left is the truck and the thickest brush and trees and I can hear one moving in there. The ones out in front that were throwing rocks started throwing rocks at us and the two that were behind my stepdad had come back up behind the trailer and started shaking it. I’m expressing to my stepdad that I no longer want to be there anymore. He simply replied with, get in the truck!”

They left for the night but returned in the morning to gather their things. Chris says “We started packing up camp because we sure as hell were not going to stay there anymore. We had to get the hitch off the side by side to tow the trailer out with the truck but it was cemented in from all the mud so I had to beat this thing out with a small sledge hammer. It made a hell of a noise up the canyon so if anything was around it was going to know we were there. I have to add that it rained rather hard after we left the night before and all tracks had been destroyed to the point of not being able to photograph them.

It was 10-15 minutes after I got the hitch out we finished loading up. I was loading the last ice chest onto the trailer turned around to talk to my step dad who was talking to me and noticed some movement at my upper right, right at 35 yards away on the low ridgeline on the north side of camp. I turn my head a little more and sure enough I’m staring at a Sasquatch who is staring straight back at me. It was 8:30am against a cloudless piercing blue sky. It had to of wanted us to see it. It didn’t appear to be trying to hide.”

Chris gives a full description of the creature and its face. Above is a very brief outline of what happen, it is a great encounter and to hear it first hand from Chris is amazing.

“… I have to add that it rained rather hard after we left the night before…”
When I read that, I immediately thought of Paulides’ “Missing 411” where Paulides mentions that, often times, when people go missing, a heavy weather front moves in. I wondered if Chris and his step-dad had not got out of there, if this would have been another case for a future “Missing…”. Just an observation…

Looking forward to the program, Wes!

    Cheers

…what some people go through with these amazingly terrifying animals…

Steve – ditto re: Paulides. I have a theory on this that comes from my years freediving/spear fishing. I have had 4 or 5 instances of being in lakes with not only little fish activity taking place, but no sign of fish, at all, when what occurs is the barometric pressure starts to drop – an unstable weather system is approaching. PRIOR to, and during the front’s arrival, I have seen many fish. Large fish, appear out of nowhere. Fish suddenly everywhere, and very very active. Some of my best fresh water spearing has been during these times. So my theory is that perhaps in some instances, the dropping barometric pressure itself, is stimulating these animals. It gets them worked up. Not unlike when you or I see a storm approaching and begin to feel livened up. A sense of anticipation.

Found two cents under the couch cushion so I thought I’d offer it up

…and a golden “2 cents” it is. 🙂 Cool observation. I know back in Ontario, Canada where I originate from, deer come out and feed quite heavily just before major snow storms in the fall…

“Wes is working on interviewing several
witnesses who have had encounters with Sasquatch
for June 11, 2015 upcoming show”

Wes, did this show in question already take place?

  3. Christopher U

Read this encounter shortly after it was posted . His story is not only frightening as hell, it really has that ring of truth to it.
Looking forward to this with much anticipation !!!

I can’t remember who said it but someone trashed Christianity as a 2000 year old myth. Well this just came to me. If you’re that smart then explain some of these Missing 411 cases. Like kids showing up in places that were searched over and over again. Also I bet you believe Barry and crew can change the weather.

Finally, an encounter coming out of my state. Has SC done a show on this encounter already? Cuz this sounds so familiar like either I’ve read it a few times or I heard it on another show or somethin. I honestly believe that sasquatch are just as weary of the unknown as we are. That’s why I think they we’re throwing debris at them to lure them out and see who and what they we’re dealing with and to size them up. They are not like any other wild animal, if most wild predators see possible prey they do not play games either they’ll attack or they won’t. Rather black n white, not much of a grey area with most wild animals except with the sasquatch. They are masters of their craft, and they are the masters of ambushing. The fact that they weigh out their options, instead of attacking they patiently wait n try to lure them out to see exactly what they’re dealing with, but the fact that they do that shows a great deal of intelligence. They are the ultimate predator n they are the top of the food chain. N I think if people really took into consideration all aspects of the sasquatch they would understand why we don’t have one in a zoo. Another level of predator, we aren’t the biggest baddest thing out there any longer n that might be a hard pill to swallow for most

When I first read this encounter in an earlier post I thought that hopefully Wes can get this guy on , and here it is going to be on this Friday. Wes you have really raised the bar my friend. I really enjoyed the episode Nephilisim conspiracy more than I expected and recently my wife and I sit in bed with our milk and 3 muskateer bars and listen like people did around the radio back in the day we sorta reconnected and it is now our thing to listen to episodes and discuss. Thanks Wes for the hard work you do.

Hey Tracy G, they said it happened in Nevada. N if it’s an encounter from Nevada, I’m willing to bet it’s Northern NV. Southern NV is basically all desert

Ditto to the 411 comments! I thought exactly the same thing when the weather change was mentioned and think it very possible these two might have been added to the missing list had they not left immediately. The critters were certainly behaving aggressively. Also curious as to why one revealed itself so blatantly when the men returned to get their belongings…Dirty ape! This should be a great show!

I always wondered how Sasquatch would thrive in a place like NV., I know much of it is desert scrub land but there are pockets like Battle Mountain where a burnt Sasquatch was reported to have been rescued, this should be very interesting-Rock on Wes!
