Judging from what I’ve heard in the past, it does sound like a squatch. I live in Oklahoma also. I would like to know your location and please get in touch with me. My e-mail is as follows: caschlabs@icloud.com

Sounds crazy, but this is coon or bear hounds. Most likely coon because I heard it locate once.

Eyeshine at 40 seconds and after.

I have heard vocalizations almost identical to this in Ohio near the PA border.

Man Wes that sounds close to the sounds I talked about on episode 189. All excited the sounds I heard were way more aggressive and more drown out. This was pretty cool

That is definitely not a person making those noises,

Coon dog. That long howl at the end screams coon dog treeing.

Born and raised in Oklahoma and I’m very familiar with coon hounds and would agree with Bobby if it wasn’t for the sheer power and lung capacity of the animal making those howls. Something extremely powerful is responsible….much larger than that of a ordinary coon hound.(IMO)
What part of Oklahoma was this recorded?
Becky W
Wow…that’s really interesting

I tried a,quick Google search for coon hound sounds here is one youtube clip that has similar type of sound being made.

I did not find one of coon hounds in the distance. It sounds very similar but not at the volume or deepness of this clip. It could be coon hounds sounds that are being distorted by distance or echoing. Maybe the creatures just make similar sounds or maybe they imitate what they have heard or maybe they have a huge repitoir of sounds that they have built over generations of listening, mimicing, and evolving. Then again it may just be coon hounds.
