OBSERVED: Subject: Tall, white haired “ape-like” creature
Date: November 5, 1980 @ 4:00 or 5:00 AM
Case Data: This incident is on file with the Maysville, Kentucky police department. We consider it to be valid. We cannot comment any conclusions because no researcher interviewed the witness.
Mr. N.C., an Alabama truck driver was hauling steel west on U.S. Route 68 when he saw a figure on the opposite side of the highway. He slowed his vehicle and turned on his high beams thinking that it was a hitch hiker. When he approached the figure, he was shocked to see a 6-7 foot tall “ape-like” creature with white hair.
After his encounter, he contacted some locals on C.B. channel 22 to see if there was a zoo or circus in the area. He thought that possibly an ape had escaped. When police were called to investigate, they took N.C.’s statement and filed a report. He stated to police that he had never been to this area before and knew nothing about alleged Bigfoot reports. (N.C.)had heard about previous reports from other C.B’ers. The police believe that Clay was serious on what he reported.

Sounds like some of the sightings in the episodes here! Something like that stepping out into the road would really scare me.

Kentucky,,,again! I still have a lot of kin down there, and my sister and her husband want to move to the Cincinnati, area. They say it’s to be closer to the grand-kids. I believe that’s only part of it. My big sis, says that crime is way up, poverty is way up, services are going off the deep end! She says there are a lot of people making meth back in them thar hills! Fricken govt., they should have de-criminalized moonshine making, and let the shiners’ take care of the meth-heads! See, I got the thing solved; not even a politician!
There are some definite, down-right scarry places to visit-hike-explore, in Kentucky. I know of several, and probably the main reason I don’t go for an extended stay to visit my sister and bro-in-law, is because of the crazy firearm restrictions! I would NOT, go to the places where I used to go as a lad; not without fire-power!

A thought,……
When and/or if the big guy is finally acknowledged as a real creature, and its true nature is understood for any outdoors activity by us humans, we will see a serious backlash in gun laws and gun ownership, and probably a lightening of carrying laws around the country. Though I believe in gun registration and restriction on those unfit to own or carry, such as mentally I’ll, of convicted felons, I believe in the right to bear arms for the intent the constitution set forth. Agreed, something must be done about these crazy, and pointless shootings, but restriction of firearms in any wilderness setting is asking for a potential unfortunate situation. From every story we’ve heard or read about the vintictive, aggressive monsters is that they know what firearms are, and generally respect their potential. I personally would like to keep it that way.
