Dr. Meldrum On Patty

Dr. Meldrum writes “I added couple slides to my PGF presentation emphasizing the human-like anatomy of Patty’s pelvis and gluteal muscles, which are very distinct from those of a gorilla. This body builder has massive gluteus medius, which covers the iliac blades, short and curving forward in the human, but tall and flat in the gorilla.

Again, the bottom-line is: Patty has the anatomy of a biped — and unless someone teleported some yoga pants back to 1967, no costume of that era has that conformity or elaborate tailoring.”

Nice comparison between the body builer and Patty. Last night we finally watched Letters from the Big Man which I highly recommend. They had built one of the better costumes for the Big Guy I have seen, especially the face is close. However the suit, showed off a beer belly and no massive chest or core muscles, it was way to much hair and no muscle movement. No one can still get it right or even close today, but somehow a couple of rodeo cowboys cound in 1967. Sure.
