Coming up on my 200th episode

I am looking for ideas for the upcoming 200th episode! Everyone says I should have this researcher on or this expert on and to be honest with you guys I would rather talk to you.

I will have an upcoming show with Bear, Coonbo and Matt from Bigfoot Outlaws but for my 200th show I was thinking about doing something like Omegle where I could talk to fans of the show directly and answer any questions or comments you might have. I can record it and put it on the show featuring you guys and gals.

What do you think? Comment below with your ideas.

“Omegle (oh·meg·ull) is a great way to meet new friends. When you use Omegle, we pick someone else at random and let you talk one-on-one.”

sounds good….would love to hear the information you’ve gleaned in interviewing so many people…the weirder the better 😉 for all of us weirdos out here. Thanx for all your dedication Wes ~ YOU ROCK!!

  2. Karey E B

Yanno, there are members here who have seen the big guy. Maybe a few of them would be willing to tell their story. Our very own campfire of sorts. Even if they wanna remain anonymous while on the phone–so they don’t feel shy/weirded out, but our own little ‘club’ ’round the campfire…a celebration of sorts.

I would like to find out more about government cover ups. I’m still do not understand why and how Bigfoot is being covered up. A call in would be great!

Awesome Idea Wes! Maybe it would be fun for the fans to talk to Mr Garrett Coonbo and Duke….Have the JEDI counsel of Sasquatch so we all can ask you Questions! 200 Way to go !! and as much as i love Shannon and ITF… you are killing it alone.. Job well done

Coonbo, Bear, Matt would be great!! Those guys know what their doing. Also Dr. Bob Garrett and Duke would be great too. Hope your feeling better Wes. I was done almost a month so I feel for ya! All the best for your 200th and be safe buddy! Oh ya, Brenda Harris is really knowledgable too. Along JC Johnson. Your deal, you make the call. Thanks and grats to you!????????

Woohoo, I’ve been asking for a call in show Wes and know everyone would agree with me!!!!!

Please don’t have experts on (yawn), I listen to this show purely for its encounters and that is it. So many other BF podcasts interview experts and researchers, there’s not another show like yours that just focuses on encounter stories each episode. It’s why this show is a success – and cause you rock as a host.

    Do it, call in show!!!!!!!!!!

Wes. Why not pick those things you’ve liked best. Maybe show us some behind the scenes stuff.

I’m going to list some questions…

    What was your favorite show?
What have you learned about yourself since the first show?
What have you learned about people since the first show?
What episode surprised you the most?
When it comes to Sasquatch what freaks you out the most?
What do you like about the show?
What don’t you like about the show?
What would you like the rest of us to know about Sasquatch and yourself you haven’t told us yet?
Play us your top ten favorite moments from the episodes so far.
What would you like to tell the government?
What advice do you give to anyone who has seen a Sasquatch and is going through PSD.
What are you more confident in, since doing the show?
What now about the show is a concern?
What have you had the most fun with the show?

Basicly I’m hoping you’ll go through the different episodes and tell us what you’ve thought and felt.

Oh, why not change the beginning of your show. Instead of what you have now, replace with your favorite snip its of your guests.

Thank-you for all of what you’ve done. I appreciate the fact you’re plugging away and doing the show.

    Bob

Yes I’m finally a member! Love sc. Wes, (Woody) Thank you guys for doing all this. I have found truth and abundant information here. Plus I finally got my son to listen to Your encounter sc episode 2!. He is 9 only knew tv bigfoot ( mountain monsters, Alaska monster and finding bigfoot). He now has a whole new respect and outlook for bigfoot now!

  9. Robert W

Only been a year since the Wil debacle…and look how much stronger you are Wes- more credible guests, great support from the community, Bob Gimlin supports you. Excellent idea…

Off topic for episode 200 but Just curious wasn’t David Pallides supposed to come on? Even if he just covered the hoopa project it would be great that and missing 411 even better. That would be a great show.

Vic Cundiff from dogman encounters would be a good guest one day. Another good one would be Cliff from finding bigfoot I heard off the show he is honest and probably gathered some great encounters plus his own.

    • William C

Hey lou, not saying that cliff would be a good idea, but cliff is sort of a flute player. He thinks sasquatch is a cuddly harmless creature that theres nothing to be worried about when encounter one. Quite honestly i would love to have him and wes get into a verbal battle on the subject. Maybe wes and woody could take cliff up to yacolt mtn and see what real sasquatch’s are like.

      • Lou V

William I thought the same thing about Cliff then seen a video where he seemed different but you could be right. Would be interesting to hear Wes interview him. The David Pallides one would be great and I thought it was suppose to happen not sure why it didn’t happen? I’m pretty sure Cliff knows a sasquatch is like any other wild animal and can be dangerous. Sasquatch sure aren’t as dangerous as lions, tigers, nile crocs or hippos to name a few you won’t hear face to face encounters with those animals because no one will live to tell about it like they do with sasquatch.

  11. Tam C

I like the idea. With or without guests. I like Karey EB’s description that we’re all sitting around the camp fire.

Here you are at 200, (Happy 200!)

I’ve been following you Wes and Woody since before you opened SC up. I thought your encounter was one of the most interesting along with Bob Garrett stories (plus others) in all the time that I had listened in. I’ve never joined anything in my life before SC. I think for this purpose we’ve all been drawn together, so forge ahead. Omegle will be a neat experiment. I’m not very computer savvy on this machine, but I’ll try and keep up.

::Hands him a fresh box of Kleenex:: Get Better!

  12. Bruce D

I would like something different…the same 30 people are always on here..maybe “what touched you the most” over your journey, would be something I would like to listen to

  13. Robert N

ID LOVE TO SEE A SHOW WITH YOU , BEAR , COONBO, ZASKEY , AND DUKE. IF IT WAS 6 HOURS IT WOULDNT BE LONG ENOUGH ! …. HOPE YOUR FEELING BETTER WES THATS MOST IMPORTANT.

  14. Eric B

I like all the shows when Woody comes back. Maybe include him in a call-in show? He’s been around since the beginning, so it seems like he should be in on the 200th!! If he can make it! I enjoy listening to Wes and Woody on the show, finishing each others sentences. It reminds me of hanging with friends.

  15. Teresa V

I would really like Wes to discuss some of the insider type stuff that he’s heard. Also, I think it would be cool for Wes to discuss some of the encounters that folks have told him about, although they didn’t want to come on the show. Fresh information that we haven’t heard before. I also think it would be cool if Wes could track down the survivor of the torn up camp, and have this person on the show, or at least if he’s willing to just tell Wes his story, and Wes could retell it to us.

  16. John G

Bruce D hit upon what I would like to hear. I enjoy the repeat offenders as they always have more good insight to share each time they come on the air.

How about a show (whenever it could be done) where the same question is posed to all of the special guests. “What is your favorite Bigfoot story?” I love the encounters on the show. That is what makes it special. But hearing a ‘campfire stories’ type of an episode where each of our favorite guests tells that one or two stories that gives them goose bumps would be really sweet.

Each person would probably have to be taped ahead of time. It would be great to hear what scares the guys out there doing what 99% of us can’t but wish we could be doing.

  17. Brenda G

As much as I’d love to hear everyone’s encounter stories – I’d really love to hear an interview with Lyle Blackburn about the book he wrote ‘The Beast of Boggy Creek’. (It seems that Shannon may have had him on one of your earlier shows.)

And I do hope you have a couple of call-in shows because I think all members want to hear everything anyone has to say about any encounters they’ve had.

For me – my dad took us to see The Legend of Boggy Creek back in late 1972 when it was at the local theatre. It was so scary. We lived in the boondocks so, at 15 years old I was freaked out. Years went by and the ‘fright’ faded.

I still live in the woods with the closest neighbor being a half mile away, and – I hear a single wood knock when I get out of my vehicle to walk to my house. It really freaks me out because – for many years I’d think ‘what the heck…I didn’t see anyone outside doing any kind of work when I drove past the neighbor’s house’. It finally dawned on me after listening to your shows the past year…I think there must be a Bigfoot watching when I pull into my driveway!

And, I don’t think they like loud music. I opened the windows and played some Zeppelin really loud…the next morning there was a huge limb that had been pulled off a tree – not broken, but pulled off the side of a tree and thrown into my front yard. My dad stopped by that day and asked me where in the world did that tree limb come from?

Like a lot of other women, I close the curtains and shades before it gets dark! And I pack an elephant gun now…not that it would do me any good….

Wes, so many of the people you interview mention The Legend of Boggy Creek as being an influence in their lives by getting people interested in the subject of Sasquatch. This is why I’m casting my vote for a 1 on 1 interview – you talking to Lyle about Boggy Creek. And my fiancé is casting his vote for Lyle too.

    We love your show!

    Wes, you really do rock!!!
