What a fabulous find. Over 150 years ago and they exhibited the same behavior, although he really had nothing to worry about, especially after listening to the one soldier that was familiar with these creatures. Yes music does hath charm to sooth the savage beast. I have been over this river numerous times crossing the I-75 north of Chattanooga. At night you can see lights from a factory which I presume is a pulp mill due to the smell and eeri, sometimes greenish glow from the exhaust of the stacks.
