A listener writes “I was just told to listen to your episode from March 22nd and my mind is blown. I have a similar experience from 2004 where my friend and I went to see a house for rent, that then disappeared. There’s a lot more to it than that, but the similarities are eerie.

I’d love to know if there was anything else they shared that didn’t make the cut into the episode or if they’re willing to be contacted. I had shared my experience on TikTok and while there were a few similar stories, this one is the closest I’ve ever heard.”

Spoke to the witness and we are working out a time her and her friend can come on.

A listener writes “My fiance and I went to Point Pleasant, West Virginia to see the Mothman museum and saw where the silver bridge collapsed.

We decided to go through Virginia on our way back to Tennessee where we live and took Hwy 33. When we entered the Monongahela National Forest a deer jumped into the road it seemed normal to me, but usually when there is one deer there are more. I think it could have been a not a deer because it just spilled onto the road and acted different.

We drove through fog and smelled the scent of gunpowder in the air and it continued until we got close to Harrisonburg, VA. The weirdest thing is that we didn’t have any phone service until we drove through green fog and it came back and the gunpowder smell was the strongest and it went away.

We did some research and that highway seems fairly haunted and people have reported seeing either a male hitchhiker that disappears in people’s cars or a little girl that does the same thing. Also growing up I’ve had a few paranormal things happen at my grandparents farm too.”

Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization writes “Exclusive interview and investigation on location in Irvine, KY with a witness who saw a half-man, half-wolf creature run across the road right in front of his truck! Charlie & Lyndsey Raymond of the Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization recently drove out to the very spot to interview this dogman witness and document his frightful encounter.”

Kentucky Dogman Sighting

The Confessionals writes “In episode 742: Dogman Of The Corn, Shane and “The Judge” from ‪@fromtheshadows8557‬ share a bone-chilling account of an entity that stalked one of their daughters—night after night. It called itself “Wind.” It appeared as a little boy with blonde hair and blue bibs, and it whispered through the baby monitor in a dead language no one could recognize. It wanted the child to go outside. In the snow. In the middle of the night. This wasn’t just a haunted house. Wind followed them across towns. Past locked doors. Into new bedrooms. When “The Judge” finally saw it with his own eyes, his daughter began speaking in something guttural, ancient, possibly Sumerian—and then Wind was gone. But not forever.

Years earlier, on a quiet country road flanked by cornfields, “The Judge” came face to face with a creature that shouldn’t exist. It ran through the rows—pacing him, mirroring every move—and when it stepped out, it stood tall like a man, with the head of a wolf and the build of a linebacker. No eye shine. No sound. Just intent. He escaped by seconds, diving into a friend’s pool, heart pounding and reality shattered. Decades later, he would learn the land was built on ancient burial mounds—and that others had seen it too.”

A listener writes “I have been listening to your podcasts and I hear people talking about “light Balls” I don’t have a very big story about them but I now know what I seen. It was in the early 80’s and I was around 16 I was living in south bend Indiana and it was around midnight 1 am. I used to sneak out of the house after my family went to sleep and meet up with friends.

I walked down the driveway toward the woods/field across the street where we rode dirt bikes and seen three colored balls in the distance across the field. Probably 150 yards away toward a wood row. 1 was amber, 1 red & 1 blue. I walked through the woods section that blocked my view to try to see them better and got to the edge of the field where I had an unobstructed view. They looked like basketball size maybe beach ball sized.

Around 300 yards there was a large barn so I figured it was just someone put colored lights up. I went out there the next morning riding and checked out the barn and there was no sign of any lights added. I never seen them again and was wondering if you have heard of anyone ever seeing anything around here like this.”

Mysteries Unknown writes “We start with Heather’s chilling experience in Kentucky, where she and her children were confronted by a charging Bigfoot that terrorized them on their property. Later, she shares how these creatures continued to attack their home.

In the final story, we hear from a former police officer who recalls the night he came face-to-face with a Bigfoot—and actually shot at it when he was just a kid.”

Paranormal Portal writes “There is one book that was instrumental in putting the Dogman on the map. This Book was “The Beast of Bray Road” by Linda Godfrey. It was while interviewing Linda that I met Lee Hampel, who owns a property in Bray Road area. While Linda is no longer with us, Lee has continued to collect evidence regarding continued sightings and experience with the beast. Lee Hempel joins me on this episode to talk about his continued experiences with both the Beast as well as other incredible, strange and terrifying phenomena that punctuates his and others experience on Bray Road.”

Bigfoot and Beyond writes “Cliff Barackman and James “Bobo” Fay speak with friend, fellow ‘squatcher, and artist Scott Minton! Scott discusses his adventures in the field with Cliff and the Bobes, his work on the graphic design of the North American Bigfoot Center, and shares a story about seeing a UFO while searching for sasquatches in Southern California!”

The Confessionals writes “Are black holes actually portals? A new study suggests they may not be cosmic traps after all. Meanwhile, shocking claims about Jeffrey Epstein’s shapeshifting resurface—Juliette Rose Bryant describes bizarre encounters. And what if the Egyptians didn’t build the Egyptian pyramids but inherited from a pre-flood civilization? Could they have harnessed Earth’s energy, as Tesla believed? The mystery runs deeper than we think…”

Stanislaus County, California, fall 1869. A hunter reported an unusual incident in the local mountains involving a hair-covered, man-like creature who amused himself with a campfire. He was later joined by another of his species as he left the campsite. The remarkable account is proved here in the hunter’s own words.

I was hunting in the mountains about 20 miles south of here, and camped five or six days in one place, as I have done every season for the past fifteen years. Several times I returned to camp, after a hunt, and saw that the ashes and charred sticks from the fireplace had been scattered about. An old hunter notices such things, and very soon gets curious to know the cause. Although my bedding and traps and little stores were not disturbed, as I could see, I was anxious to learn who or what it was that so regularly visited my camp, for clearly the half burnt sticks and cinders could not scatter themselves about. I saw no tracks near the camp, as the hard ground covered with leaves would show none. So I started in a circle around the place, and, three hundred yards off, in, damp sand, I struck the track of a man’s feet, as I supposed — bare and of immense size. Now I was curious, sure, and I resolved to lay for the barefooted visitor.

I accordingly took a position on a hillside, about sixty or seventy feet from the fire, and, securely hid in the brush, I waited and watched. Two hours and more I sat there and wondered if the owner of the feet would come again, and whether he imagined what an interest he had created in my enquiring mind, and finally what possessed him to be prowling about there with no shoes on. The fireplace was on my right, and the spot where I saw the track was on my left, hid by the bushes. It was in this direction my attention was mostly directed, thinking the visitor would appear there, and besides, it was easier to sit and face that way.

Suddenly I was surprised by a shrill whistle, such as boys produce with two fingers under their tongue, and turning quickly I ejaculated, ‘Good God!’ as I saw the object of my solicitude standing beside my fire, erect, and looking suspiciously around. It was in the image of a man, but it could not have been human. I was never so benumbed with astonishment before. The creature, whatever it was, stood fully five feet high, and disproportionately broad and square at the fore shoulders, with arms of great length. The legs were very short and the body long. The head was small compared to the rest of the creature, and appeared to be set upon his shoulders without a neck. The whole was covered with dark brown and cinnamon colored hair, quite long on some parts, that on the head standing in a shock and growing close down to the eyes, like a Digger Indian’s.

As I looked he threw his head back and whistled again, and then stopped and grabbed a stick from the fire. This he swung round, until the fire on the end had gone out, when he repeated the maneuver. I was dumb, almost, and could only look. Fifteen minutes I sat and watched him as he whistled and scattered my fire about. I could easily have put a bullet through his head, but why should I kill him?

Having amused himself, apparently, as he desired, with my fire, he started to go, and, having gone a short distance he returned, and was joined by another — a female, unmistakably when both turned and walked past me, within twenty yards of where I sat, and disappeared in the brush. I could not have had a better opportunity for observing them, as they were unconscious of my presence. Their only object in visiting my camp seemed to be to amuse themselves with swinging lighted sticks around. I have shared this story many times since, and it has often raised an incredulous smile; but I have met one person who has seen the mysterious creatures, and a dozen of whom have come across their tracks at various places between here and Pacheco Pass.

Fast Forward: The hunter actually provided this report to a newspaper in November 1870. He was remarking on reported accounts
of previous sightings of similar creatures. He prefaced his report with the following:

I saw in your paper a short time since, an item concerning the 'gorilla' which was said to have been seen in Crow Canyon and shortly after in the mountains at Orestimba Creek. You sneered at the idea of there being any such a 'critter' in these hills, and were I not better informed, I should sneer too, or else conclude that one
of your recent prospecting party had got lost in the wilderness, and did not have sense enough to find his way back to Terry's. I positively assure you that this gorilla or wild man, or whatever you choose to call it is no myth. I know that it exists, and that there are at least two of them, having seen them both at once not a year ago. Their existence has been reported at times for the past twenty years, and I have heard it said in early days an orangutan escaped from a ship on the southern coast; but the creature I have seen is not that animal, and if it is, where did he get his mate? Import her as the web-foot did their wives?

I have had some very strange encounters starting when I was a Senior in High School in 1989. I am now in Western North Carolina and after 4 years of a quiet life, I am now having encounters with creatures in the Smoky Mountains and my home here that sits atop a Mountain just outside the Cherokee Indian Reservation.

I would love to discuss some of these events with you and possibly share some of my stories on your show if possible. Please let me know if you are interested. I do have some pics and Audio of some of my encounters as well.”

A listener writes “I was reminded of something that happened to me in late summer 2010. I had dismissed it quickly because of how it affected me at the time. I was taking a friend home from town. We passed a barn that was on fire.

The flames were very high and the smoke higher than the flames. I watched the fire from his house which was on the hillside above. I took a different route home to avoid getting in the way of emergency vehicles. I made a left turn onto Lake Earl Drive and saw something step away from a tall hedge. It stepped down into a ditch maybe three feet deep and five feet across. It stepped down into the ditch with one foot and stepped up on the road with the other foot.

Just before I saw this thing I had slowed down because I was amazed that the light from the fire was visible where I was three miles away. I stopped to watch the light reflecting off the clouds that had come in from the ocean when I noticed movement at the edge of my car headlights. When it was on the road on my left it turned and started walking in the opposite direction from me. I was driving slowly at that point, maybe 5 mph.

The thing covered so much ground with only a few steps. In one step it was in the middle of another street that met up with Lake Earl Drive. At that point it turned. I’m not sure if it turned toward me or away from me but that is when I saw it outlined in the light from a nearby house and something snapped in my head. I think I said something like “Holy Shit” then I pressed on the gas pedal. I had this thought that it was coming after me, that it was going to climb into the back of my truck and reach through the back window. I thought it might be chasing me even though I was going 50 mph by then.

I kept saying out loud to myself “What the hell was that?” I was kind of screaming it and looking in my center mirror. I lived five miles from the place where I saw the thing. I lived in the same woods that this thing had stepped out of. I didn’t want to get out of my car when I got home but I didn’t want to sit in the driveway alone in the dark either. I worked up my courage and got into the house. I told my husband and he seemed convinced because of how I looked when he saw me step through the front door.

I didn’t see much detail except that it was big, had shaggy dark hair all over, its arms were unusually long, and it seemed to not have a neck. I couldn’t see its face, hands or feet. I can tell you it was not wearing shoes or anything that resembled clothing. Later I made up a story that what I saw was a kid in a ghillie suit. As luck would have it maybe a month later, I saw a kid in the Safeway parking lot wearing ghillie pants. I knew right away that what I saw was not someone in a ghillie suit. I felt conflicted knowing this fact because I was left with the problem of trying to explain what it was to myself.

I grew up in the forest. My siblings and I would spend hours bushwhacking all over the hills. I have been up close to black bear, elk, and mountain lion. I’ve been within spitting distance of a shark and sea lions. I’ve been held hostage by men with automatic weapons. I have never felt the kind of threat to my life as I did that night from a thing on the side of the road. I can’t help but feel kind of stupid for what I felt that night. I think I felt stupid after I got home and decided to explain it away. There was much of the experience that I had forgotten until I started listening to other people tell their stories and their sense of crushing fear. Hearing their reports I realized that I knew what they were talking about.

I have been a certified lifeguard with open water training, I’ve had wilderness first responder training, and I work with people who are suicidal. I consider myself to be cool-headed especially in a crisis. I’m fearful but for the most part I can channel my fear into a coherent response. I’ve never experienced that kind of fear before. It is unexplainable all around. Thank you for giving me a forum to share this. I think I needed to confront this experience.”

Lieutenant Commander Alex Dietrich served a 20 year career as a Naval officer and strike fighter pilot (F/A-18F). During her squadron tours she served two combat deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and was awarded a Bronze Star and Air Combat Medal.

Dietrich is perhaps best known for her involvement in a 2004 UAP incident that occurred off the Southern California coast, while assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 41. While on a routine training mission Dietrich recalled seeing “this weird flying Tic Tac shaped object.” She attempted to descend toward the object to obtain a visual at close range, at which time the object abruptly ascended and disappeared from view.

Dietrich retired from the military after serving for two decades in the U.S. Navy. During her time in service, she logged more than 1,250 hours and performed 375 carrier-arrested landings.
