Ever since early man popped into existence, we have spent a large amount of our lives looking to the stars for information and guidance.

The constellations have helped out to carve pathways for travel, the phases of the moon have helped us with the development of seasons and agriculture and the sun has benefited us all with the only source of energy we would ever need. This year, it appears that the heavens will be giving us a very special gift with a combination of many once in a lifetime events for us to witness.

    Cool. The Lyrid meteor shower will be during my camping vacation. At nearly 7000 ft up on the Mogollon Rim it should be interesting. Maybe the Mogollon monster will show up to check it out. Lol.

    I loved watching meteorite showers with my dad growing up. Makes me miss him so much. We were kindred spirits in our love of such things.
