Alabama Sighting

A listener writes “I was born and raised in Lee County AL. One morning on the way to work in about 2008 I saw a Bigfoot standing in a pine thicket. It was about eight feet tall and looked like a hairy human. Didn’t look animal like to me but more human like.”

Spoke to the witness and he said “I grew up in Alabama hunting and fishing and I have never seen anything or heard anything regarding Bigfoot. The state had just clear cut this area where I saw this thing. I have been camping, hunting and fishing in this area. I never believed in Bigfoot and I was in shock looking at this creature. It looked like a huge hairy human, it looked at me and I looked at it. It wasn’t a bear and it wasn’t a human being. I would say it looked more human like.”

You got to be kidding me! That county is right next door to mine. Trips me out. Gosh I would love to hear more from this guy. I wouldn’t be surprised with all the sightings in Alabama and Georgia. Not to mention Florida right below.

Awe cool, nope, no sasquatch encounters. Really not looking for any. Or should I say I’m not looking for any trouble. I know it’s no big deal but I do believe I did happen to catch a glimpse of a big black cat jumping into a ditch after crossing the main highway connecting Phenix City and Opelika. I have no doubt that’s what I saw. It was only a split second and in my rear view mirror. Its tail was straight, thick and at least half the body. It has made me think twice about what’s in these woods around here.

I have seen two cougars crossing the road. One right outside of Opelika and one in Smith station. Definitely more out there then most people think. I always have a gun when going in the woods.

Really appreciate hearing siting in my state I think there’s a lot more going on here than we about. I also believe the population has significantly increased here and the surrounding states due to conservation efforts, our game populations are really high and would help the big folks make a good living off the land. Plus folks down here aren’t going to talk to anyone unless they know you very well
