Advice from Dr. Robert Alley

Dr. Robert Alley, a retired professor of Anatomy and Physiology has been a Sasquatch researcher since 1974, holds degrees in anthropology, physical therapy and chiropractic, and is best known as the author of “Raincoast Sasquatch,” an excellent introduction to sasquatches in general, and particularly to the surprisingly rich historical reports, Native beliefs, as well as continuing reports and evidence of Sasquatches in the Pacific coastal rain forests.

Grassman58 writes “I had the pleasure of camping a few days with Dr. Robert Alley on one of our expeditions this year into the Pend Oreille County area. This man has over 40 years of knowledge regarding the subject matter of Sasquatch. So I asked him to give me some advice and tips and this is what he had to say.”

Great advice, similar to what Robert Morgan would say. However, to wear the same-colored clothing every time and play tapes of children at a playground is something that never occurred to me and thinking about this it makes great sense. A few years back I found a semi-teepee structure in the woods on the outskirts of Greenville, Ohio. This was between the Lowes Store and a huge playground of at least 20 acres and surrounded by a good amount of woods. This teepee had some large trees leaning up against other trees that went up over 20 feet. I did a thorough search and found no evidence that humans had been here, that is no cigarette butts or food wrappers and containers. However, there was a very small stream of water that went by it and a heavily used game trail. My thoughts then went to this as a possible hide away for a Sasquatch to stand, hidden by the woods and watch children at play, of course I will never know.

J Robert Alley is super cool. His book, Raincoast Sasquatch is one of my favorite books of all time on the subject. It would be really great if Wes could snag him for an interview on his show.

Charles: I took Robert Morgan’s advice in his Bigfoot Observers Field Manual, etc. back in 07, and got way more than I bargained for. It would be great if Wes could get Robert Morgan for an interview before it’s too late. Robert is getting up there in age. So, if you can do Wes, you better do it. Time is of the essence.

Thanks Rick T. I have the same book by Mr. Morgan. He does go into elaborate detail on how to research a potential place, that ensures the best result for calling in the Sasquatch. Much more than the average person would ever do. However, once you have decided on a forest place to set up camp, I feel his information on how to go about the day’s activities to make potential Sasquatch’s more comfortable with you in their forest if very good. Would really like to know what more than you bargained for is.
