Hawn, who has starred in a number of popular movies over the years including Private Benjamin in 1980 and Death Becomes Her in 1992, recalled her otherworldly experience on Time To Walk – an audio stream available on Apple Watch devices through the company’s fitness platform.
The encounter happened in California sometime in her 20s when there happened to be a lot of UFO sightings reported in the state.
“I went outside my door, and I sat on the little ledge, and I looked up at the dark sky,” she said.
“And I saw all these stars. And all I could think of was… are we the only planet in the whole wide universe that has life on it?”
She also called out to any aliens that might be listening, stating: “I would like to meet you one day.”
Around four months later, she had been preparing to take a nap in her friend’s car when she suddenly become aware of an anomalous, high-pitched noise.
Next thing she knew, she was in the presence of three unknown entities with silver-colored skin, triangular-shaped heads, small noses, no ears and a small slit for a mouth.
“[They] were pointing at me… discussing me like I was a subject,” she said.
After becoming paralyzed, she felt one of the beings reach out and touch her – an experience that she said “felt like the finger of God”.
“It was the most benevolent, loving feeling,” she added.
“This was powerful. It was filled with light.”

Goldie is 77, so this happened in CA in 1965. When I read that she ‘called out to any aliens who might be listening” and “was preparing to take a nap in a friend’s car”, I’m thinking hmm, sounds a little trippy to me, man. Groovy!

She had called out four months earlier Matt, so it wasn’t entirely the way you might have envisioned it or conveyed the experience as happening right after she “called out”.
Personally I still find it unsettling that these beings would appear in a group of 3 (which could be a mocking). Idk
Some people seem to have more natural creativity, sense of self and wonder that goes beyond what we physically know (sometimes we call them “dreamers”), I wouldn’t doubt strange events happen to many of these people without them using any mind altering substances.
Goldie seems intelligent enough that if she thought her experience was due to a hallucination she wouldn’t likely be willing to talk about it with such conviction, especially for someone who knows all too well about being in the public eye full of ridicule. Sometimes you have to look at the bigger picture and give people more credit without the lowbrow stereotypes.
I would say she likely did have an experience with something unexplained that many people attest to, but her evaluation of the experience could have been incorrect due to a form of deception. People can undoubtedly be brainwashed and I don’t doubt humans aren’t the only ones with this knowledge.
Like I’ve stated before, darkness and light are always allowed to interact with all people in the form of choices, and with certain individuals these interactions go beyond that in the form of encounters, because they might be more prized targets.
Those who turn to certain mind altering drugs are essentially chasing these types of unexplained experiences that they might not normally have in some cases. Other times certain drugs and alcohol are used to suppress or dull interactions that darkness inflicts on emotionally vulnerable people who are not as spiritually strong and aware of a better way away from it, and to something more positive.
I honestly think that if there weren’t so many stresses and fears molding todays society containing this mix of people who naturally feel things more emotionally, you wouldn’t have such things as depression medication and addictions to drugs and alcohol.
The world needs emotional people at their best to achieve knowledge, enlightenment to better things and set an example, and not falling as victims to oppression and cast to the wayside to be self medicated or influenced to take medications as the quick fix. The world also needs ignorance as an example or reminder of where we don’t want to end up or who we’d rather not become. A little of everything in moderation with good intentions is usually overall fairly healthy I think under normal circumstances.
Just as you see in nature, when one species thrives too much there is always something predatory (darker) that begins to thrive as well. Eventually, when predators then outnumber the prey it’s the predators that will then dwindle and establish a new balance… Like a wave of peaks and valleys… Not “New Balance” the shoe.
People have a responsibility to see this natural order and make everyone aware of it, so we can all keep it in check… when mankind goes off kilter too far and falls below the allowable wave it causes chaos, imo because we have the gift of being spiritually connected and can be influenced under these interactions. Only mankind’s spiritual choices and God can disrupt Earths natural order with more power given to darker intentions while simultaneously power is taken away from positive intentions, we see this reflected by the signs in nature and it shows us the result being a “natural” extinction.
When mankind can no longer keep the peace and ride the waves of ups and downs we will be our own extinction and separate from the natural world, and it will move forward without us… Kind of like getting fired for sucking at your job.
I hope that wasn’t too dark… We just need faith and more awareness with a better understanding of the responsibility to why we’re here. Technology could be a useful tool if we used it solely with the right intentions… But you’ll always have a certain amount of people nowadays using a finely tuned torque wrench for a pry bar or a hammer… Maybe we should be taking away their tools until they they know how to use them responsibly. Just my thoughts.

I always liked Ms Hawn and Kurt Russell. Those who are old enough will well remember her breakout on Rowan and Martins late 1960s Laugh In. Her experience certainly is vastly different than most abductees. I did see a short interview where Kurt Russell was the pilot that was flying in the Phoenix area the night of the famous Phoenix lights and called it in to the tower.

I truly believe a willingness to be open to something is often (not always) a prerequisite to having an experience. Happy to hear it was not a terrifying experience, but a positive one.

Lynn, right now you can’t assume one positive experience for a public figure is overall positive for everyone without knowing the results (that haven’t happened yet)… Maybe this one experience to one person was to indeed be heard by many people and lull many more into a false sense of security or weakness. You never know, until you do, and then maybe it’s too late. I wouldn’t draw any conclusions for the rest of us to follow off any one experience.
