A tall dark figure in the window

A listener writes “I now live in South West Virginia but after college I took a job working at a fish hatchery in Idaho. While staying at a remote cabin in October of 2022 I saw something through my kitchen window early one morning. I was living in the Nez Perce Clearwater National Forest out by LOLO pass.

I had gotten up and walked into the kitchen to turn on the coffee pot, while walking into the kitchen there was a tall dark figure in the window looking inside. It took up most of the window, it was dark so I couldn’t make out a ton of detail besides the outline of a head and shoulder.

Since the experience I have moved to WV and now am a Deputy of a rural county. I was wondering if you had heard anything about any sightings near me. I work midnight shift so don’t be afraid to text me late at night.

I spoke to the witness and he has agreed to come on the show.

    Will look forward to hearing your window sighting and thoughts. For me these home window sightings are some of the best. As for West Virginia, it seems to be a state that has stayed on the quiet side of folks talking about their encounters. However, this is changing. Back in 2021 in Sutton, WV the West Virginia Bigfoot Museum opened and according to the nice lady and I believe her son, the locals and others have come by in droves to tell them of their encounters. And a good many of these have had activity for a lot of years and seem to treat them like every other forest animal. And in the summer they have a festival, ususally late June, in which this year an estimated 20,000 people attended.

      I read the page intro and I like that the Spanish called them “Dark Watchers”, seems fitting, and mysterious.

      I’m glad Ray Wallace didn’t name anything else other than “Bigfoot”… This name, and ones like it completely ruin online searching, it invites and interjects idiocracy.

      At some point (at the rate we’re going, soon) there will be trillions upon trillions of pages of modified truths, propaganda or false digital data, some human created and some artificially created, attached to and stealing every honest good word or name in every language. There will be multitudes of the same thing except each tweaked or twisted just a little, until you don’t know the true original version anymore or who is “an honest source” among the growing and countless.

      Without tangible physical items, a keen intuition and moral foundation it’d be a shame to not know the truth unless it’s old and you’re physically holding the information in the palm of your hand✋ and in your heart ♥️
