A listener writes “I manage a fishing trip for myself and anywhere from 7 to 12 friends year by year to Umbagog Lake State Park which, sits on the border between Maine and New Hampshire about 25 mi south of the Canadian border. I’ve been leading these trips since 2015. In that time there have been a few occasions where we have had things happened that were somewhat unexplainable to what would be considered to be normal activity.
Three specific occasions stick out in my mind. The first of the three happened in 2020 when we were able to get a campsite on the rapid river outside of the state park at campsite run by Northern Waters called cedar stump. We were at campsite number 4. Close to nightfall across the river from us. A large branch started to shake violently and probably shook for about 10 seconds.
That branch was approximately 8 ft off the ground. At that time we thought maybe it was a moose or something tall that had gotten spooked by our presence and had shaken the tree. The next year we were at remote site number 13 which is our normal site, and my son reported that in the middle of the night something wacked his head pretty hard. His head was pressed against the outside of his tent. We joked around that it could be Bigfoot. We also thought of the snowshoe hares and coyotes that reside there. There were no footprints or anything else and we let that go.
This is a kayak fishing trip that I run. Just this past year I was in a lagoon that exists near where the rapid river meets the big lake and I was fishing alone. While I was there, another incident of large branches shaking took place. This was at least the second, maybe third time I had witnessed this and it spooked me. Having listened to your show, I’ve heard your guest describe a feeling that they got during their encounters that seemed like a clear signal that whatever it was wanted them to leave, and I felt that in an overwhelming way. I stopped fishing and got out of there as fast as I could.
I have no idea if what I am describing is anything related to Sasquatch or if my interest in Sasquatch has caused me to interpret things in such a way that I attribute them to being Sasquatch.
Maybe nothing that I’m saying makes any sense and maybe some of it rings true. If you have a moment to read this and respond, I am simply curious if the shaking of large branches 8 to 10 feet off the ground large enough that it could not possibly be from a squirrel or raccoon or anything else jumping around is some sign of Sasquatch that you have come across before.
Any clarity you could provide would certainly be helpful for me. I love that State Park and I have no fear and I will be going back to that same campsite again this year. I truly appreciate your show and what you do.”

hard to say because I wasn’t there but judging my description of these occurrences it’s very typical of sasquatch type activity. I’d be willing to bet you had some encounters with them!

Where do I begin?… I have to be careful how I word this because I do want people to be aware of unseen energies but I don’t want to lead people into dark rabbit holes they aren’t spiritually ready for either, (evil puts out enough candy right now luring people into darker places). I think the majority of us are better off not knowing any of this and simply living with good and honest intentions.
It’s taken me years and countless hours of contemplating my own unusual experiences to begin to understand what is going on, many more countless hours to be able to even begin to discern where different fortunate and unfortunate events are likely coming from, and wether they’re tied to sources of either good or evil. Both forms offer triumphs, tragedies and rewards so it can get very confusing.
One causes a ripple effect that eventually is overcome through struggle or faith and is rewarded outward from a few to many more in a positive sense, the other rewards first to only a few which then causes a tragedy rippling outward to many more.
The differences can be so subtle sometimes that at first you think something is a result of positive spiritual energy when in fact it’s the opposite, only masquerading as coming from a good source.
People have become increasingly deceived to believe anything pleasurable or unique for themselves is good fortune, only to find out later that those tempting looking fruits are only made out of wax (so to speak).
I believe people do have spirit guides that on occasion help. I believe God is there to help. The part that gets confusing is that sources of good will see you through tough times with as little interference as needed, your reward through faith isn’t immediately seen right away. You are never baited or corralled to make the right decisions, it has to come from within as a personal choice, more selfless to benefit more than your own satisfaction.
People are commonly baited now into quick personal satisfaction and it reflects everywhere in modern society. The desire to make a sudden impact or choice and get a sudden response a d with that it contains an attached sudden personal reward… I hate to tell you this but these types of experiences aren’t likely coming from a source of good.
When you directly ask the higher spirit world for something instant they commonly don’t answer right away and here’s my thoughts on that… If you were always answered and rewarded by Heaven with instant gratification you would essentially just be baited into only good deeds as “tricks for treats” and it would be less about its own foundation which stands upon free will and faith.
Evil baits with more noticeable and immediate responses as these “tricks for treats” get it? The treats or temporary flavor blasts of pleasure only leave you craving more for personal satisfaction, like bragging rights for the ego to see who collected the biggest bag of candy.
I watched Paranormal Portal last night, and I believe Brent is a really good guy with a good heart… But he’s also a really good example of how some people are easily deceived and it makes me wonder.
On one hand he is advocating not contacting dark spiritual energies while in the same moment running all kinds of ghost gadgets looking for instant gratification with a response or evidence. Sorry Brent, not trying to throw him under the bus, just pointing out the obvious.
Glamorizing the possibility of an instant gratification through a mechanism that evil has no shame in using to manipulate others is just that, a tool that positive spiritual energies wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole imo… these devices I wouldn’t call natural.
Evil uses even good peoples weaknesses against them unknowingly. Brents weakness is caring that people are entertained by his show, something to be self aware of and used in better ways. Just my opinion and obviously I like the guy a lot, his choice, but felt compelled to say something for the sake of his own awareness.
As far as the story in the title?… Sounds like more of the same old trick or treat candy. I’ve been to those houses before.
If you read all that rambling, God Bless! 🌞🙏🏼

I entirely agree re: “ I think the majority of us are better off not knowing any of this and simply living with good and honest intentions.” It is impossible to unknow. Life is less complex before you know.

Is this from the same guy “Kevin” from episode 1025? Obviously, only he will know if he reads this but if not, you should check out new_hampshire_sasquatch on Instagram for more New Hampshire encounters. Pretty cool that we got 2 encounter stories from the same area in 3 months.NH is definitely squatchy…
Keep em coming!
