A listener writes “I was around 8 years old and we were going to my grandmother’s house. She lived in a heavily wooded area and her house was at the end of a 2-3 mile dead end road. My dad was driving, my mom was asleep in the shotgun seat, and my siblings were on their devices.
I was looking out the window to pass the time in the backseat. We hit a left turn where the road went up a hill. This figure was off to the left in a ditch below the level of the road. That is why I was the only person who saw it. It was squatting in the water swooping it’s arms into the water and up to its mouth. It was humanoid and all black. Not dressed in black, solid shaggy black all over. I saw no gun, no clothes, no nothing.
I saw it for about 2-3 seconds before the car turned enough that I couldn’t see it anymore. Nobody in my family believed me, and to this day they think I’m crazy for my fascination with Bigfoot. I can’t say for 100% certain that I saw Bigfoot but the consistent black color, shaggy texture, and lack of human tools (gun, bag, clothes, etc) make me think that is the likeliest possibility.”
