These insiders didn’t just face career consequences they describe encounters with something watching them, something that shouldn’t have known who they were or what they’d done.
I find it interesting they cut this from the movie.

Some of this reminds me a bit of the first year of the Sasquatch Chronicles. When police type officials were messing with people that had extrarodinary Bigfoot experiences. It happened in a case I investigated outside of New Lebanon, OH. Officials from Wright Patterson AFB came to visit a family that had ongoing activity over a couple of weeks in 2013, all 3 had seen the same Bigfoot at different times, the daughter stating she witnessed it running down the road at 35 mph late at night. Other neighbors had expereiences also. Im not sure if they were threatened. However they were told that they and others had been seeing an escaped Asian Monkey. The Father and myself got a good laugh about this comparing a 3 foot 40 pound monkey with an above 7 foot 500 pound plus all muscled up hominid. I do not think they were threatened, though.

Charles R.— prosecutor lawyer here. as you know, with your own experience, word comes from the top down what these Feds do…. if not for you the local guy, none of this would be really looked at or told now. I had good fortune to be in role as prosecutor where nobody told me what to do— except my boss said, always be kind as you can, put the real thugs under the jail, and use your own judgment but do everything equal across the board. we were both young and just wanted to do a good job and protect the county.

. I say all of this to stress, that we have minimal protection due to bureaucracy and many factors, and that it is NOTHING AT ALL, for Feds to lie to you or tell you nothing. The guy in the field has absolutely— no say— or little— and now even state Forrest agency all controlled through funding. you get it all Mr. Charles— but average person does not.
I do not know your opinion, but I fear that such trends are now institutionalized, and agencies exsist to gain more budget and power and info is gaurded as a prize. These are strange times for a guy who grew up in 80’s in high school and college. I’m an 80’s patriot at heart— mainly practiced law in 90’s and through 2010. but I do not recognize what I see now.

Im with you Mike, though Im at least 10 years before you. At least the gentleman(s) from WPAFB never threatened the witnesses, just kind of stirred up the pot with false accusations I assume.
