A listener writes “I live in southern Indiana, and I’m an avid outdoorsman. The first occurred sometime in April of last year. I was driving to work at around 2:45 p.m. when I saw something that I strongly believe was a Sasquatch. It was crouched off the side of the road in a clear-cut area approximately 200 yards away.
I noticed it because I’m always scanning fields and woods for deer and turkeys while driving. As I looked between two tree lines that were roughly 100 yards apart, I spotted a large reddish-brown figure that appeared to be squatting in the grass. Because of the position of the sun, I couldn’t tell whether I was looking at its front or back, but it appeared to have its elbows or forearms resting on its knees.
What stood out immediately was its size. It looked far too large to be a human. Its shoulders appeared to be around 4 to 5 feet wide, and even while crouched it looked to be approximately 5 feet tall. I could clearly make out the silhouette of the head, shoulders, arms, and legs. I was traveling between 55 and 60 mph and only had about two or three seconds to observe it before it was out of sight. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to turn around and get a second look.

Not long after that sighting, I had another unusual experience while driving home from a night shift. It was a Saturday morning in May at around 7:15 a.m. I was driving southeast when I noticed a bright light in the eastern sky. At first glance, it looked like a helicopter searchlight. It appeared to be only a few hundred feet above the ground and seemed completely stationary.
My initial thought was that it was simply a helicopter, so I continued driving. However, after turning east, I noticed the light was still in the same position. I kept watching it and never observed any movement. It didn’t seem particularly far away, and I drove toward it for roughly five more minutes. By that time, the sky had brightened significantly and all the stars had faded from view, so I knew it wasn’t a star.
Then the light slowly disappeared. The best way I can describe it is like watching a lit light bulb gradually being covered by a bowl. The glow simply faded away. When it was gone, there was no helicopter, aircraft, or anything else visible in that part of the sky.
The following morning, I saw the same light in the same area. As I got closer, I was driving through a small S-curve in the road. I glanced down at my speedometer for a moment, and when I looked back up, the light was completely gone.”
