Alex will be a guest on an upcoming show. In 2006 he was hiking down the Appalachian Trail. Alex said “I thought some serial killer was following me. He matched me step for step. I stopped on the trail and caught sight of someone or something in wearing a black hoodie. I thought it was a person.
I kept moving down the trail and that’s when the rocks started whizzing past my head. I started running and this thing gave chase. It was knocking over small tree’s, it sounded like a bull dozer.

I thought the music was going to be (Everlast-What it’s like) and got overly excited…the song choice is still good though

The only time I was ever paced through the woods was a daytime revisiting of the area where my first strange encounter happened in a remote are of National forest where a friend and I heard the ongoing call of a “Ohio howl” just before sundown, followed by several large trees falling from multiple directions at sunset around the lake we were fishing…it was very scary to put it mildly.
I went back there a few years later with my fiancé for a hike when I noticed something, an additional sound of leaves crunching when we would walk, it stopped when we stopped, crunched and followed us when we crunched. It took me a while to pinpoint the source…I looked back over my right shoulder as we started to move…and then I saw it😳
It was a little brown bird, like some kind of sparrow hopping along behind us lol. Anticlimactic story indeed, but still kinda weird, right? Maybe we were kicking up bugs for it…idk. All I know is that not everything is scary or unexplained, even in scary places…sometimes we just have to put on the big boy pants, overcome our fears…and then find someone slower and weaker than ourselves to drag back out there:)
Kidding, she’s probably faster than I am:/

Somebody please tell me who is the artist singing at the end? I know that I know the tune too but can’t place it either! (Drives me nuts)

Kevin, it’s “Blue Monday” by Flunk. I didn’t know that off the top of my head, but Shazam sure did!
