Scott Nelson says he was once the last person in the world who would ever have given Bigfoot a second thought. A retired Navy cryptologic linguist, who first came to hear the “Sierra Sounds” recordings while helping his son with a project for school, is unwavering on three points regarding the content on the tapes: It is definitely a language, it is definitely not human in origin, and it could not have been faked.

The phrase “samari chatter” is a reference to an early Saturday Night Live skit with the late John Belushi who portrayed a samari warrior in various comedic situations. Belushi adlibed the Japanese language which Ron Morehead compared to sounding similar to his recordings at the Seirra Camp.

I’m not impressed with Scott honestly. I don’t know anything more about their language than I did before.

For what it’s worth, Robert Carter Sr., who had an ongoing relationship with a Sasquatch family from about 1947 till his death 50 years later on his farm in eastern Tn, detailed by his granddaughter Janice Carter Coy in the book 50 Years with Bigfoot. Her grandfather thought their language was a derivative of the Native Cree Language, something he was familiar with having lived with northern Natives for a few years. They can be taught English words, but of course the enunciation is coarse. I believe it was either Scott Nelson or Ron Morehead that stated their language is 1.5 to 2 times the speed of ours and it mostly mono syllable.

And of course, Albert Ostman wrote and talked of the family group he was kidnapped by for a few days in British Columbia, of how the family would chatter back and forth with each other. He spoke of this long before the Morehead Barry tapes.

Yes indeed Ed. Skit was titled Samurai Night Fever, based off the hit movie Saturday Night Fever with John Travolta. Hugely hilarious, I was in college at that time. I have had the Sierra Tapes for over a decade. I need to play them again. I remember first time playing them and my Golden Retriever, Sabin, did not like it one bit. He went running out of my office to the back of the house.

This is pretty darn intersting. Could some people who are as qualified as himself do a study and look further into this? It would seem strange that this hasn’t occurred and been coupled with other areas of study such as dermal ridges, photo evidence, hair sample, fiylmed evidence , multiple witness evidence, DNA evidence, sound recording evidence etc etc., to then be able to present a well represented factual presentation from top biologists on the slow discovery process about a
known as Sasquatch.

Love listening to him talk about their language! Thanks Wes!

Thank , Wes. Whenever I’ve listened to Ron Morehead’s audio tapes of the sasquatch I am glad he caught them communicating with him and themselves. It’s fantastic to have Scott Nelson’s take on the tapes as well as the fact that we do not have to kill one to prove they exist. The government has proof and nobody wants a definitive answer as to what they are because it does not fit into the neat little story we have all been told. Any first nation’s people can tell the rest of us what they are if we will only ask.

Go on youtube and type….this is how Ron moorehead didt it

I found it very interesting.

Thank you Wes for sharing Scott Nelson’s experiences with Sasquatch—from the beginning helping his son with homework and how that progressed into a bonafide study of the Sasquatch sounds and language. Your work and your attitude Scott, toward these beings as a kind of human is valuable to the entire field of study and interest. I shudder every time I see some miserable nitwit out hunting “Bigfoot” with shotguns and rifles.. It does not appear that Sasquatch are inherently violent. There are some people who have shared ( on podcasts such as Wes’) who have had ongoing mutually peaceful relationships with a Sasquatch and sometimes including their family. And, it appears the Sasquatch are undeniably intelligent. Exciting and fascinating!!! Thanks
