A very strange night

A listener writes “I grew up in Forks Washington a very isolated small town. We had just moved into a new place and we spent the entire day moving boxes, my brother and I slept on the floor that night in our new room.

I woke up in the middle of the night readjusted and closed my eyes to fall back asleep when I heard a sound outside followed by another sounded that I quickly recognized as footsteps that became louder and louder, the noise stopped at my window. I could hear something breathing outside heavily and heard it put a hand on the window I believe it wasn’t a bear because I couldn’t hear the sound of nails and when it approached it sounded like it was on two feet not 4. I was petrified I couldn’t move.

It was grunting and breathing loud it had a deep chested sound that made the hairs on my body stand erect. I remember trying to reach for my brother but I was so scared I couldn’t move, I was too scared to look and see the creature. It was at the window for about 10 or 15 seconds and the noise must have woke my brother because he suddenly got up and turned the light on, I could hear what was outside run away on 2 feet.

The next day I told my parents what happened and they didn’t believe me so we went outside to check. We had a flower bed that was a foot wide that went around the base of the entire house and by the window there was indentations that reached beyond the flower bed. I remember it as clear as yesterday. I knew about sasquatch before that day but that night I will never forget what had happened. I hope you enjoyed my story I just wanted to share it with you.”

Thank you for sharing your story.
Would love to hear of any other observations over the time you live(d) on that property or in that area.
Did anyone else in the area report anything?
