Dr. John A. Bindernagel has agreed to return to the show. I love talking John and when he shares all of his insight. I know he is a fan favorite. Check out John’s Youtube channel here.
John A. Bindernagel (born 1941) is a wildlife biologist who has sought evidence for Bigfoot since 1963. He published a book in 1998 entitled North America’s Great Ape: the Sasquatch.
Bindernagel grew up in Ontario, attended the University of Guelph, and received a PhD in Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He moved to British Columbia in 1975 largely because the region was a hot spot for Bigfoot sightings. Over the years, he has collected casts of tracks that he believes belongs to Bigfoot. He also claims to have heard the creature near Comox Lake in 1992, comparing its whooping sound to that of a chimpanzee. Bindernagel believes that the Bigfoot phenomena should receive more attention from serious scientists, but has remarked, “The evidence doesn’t get scrutinized objectively. We can’t bring the evidence to our colleagues because it’s perceived as tabloid.”
**Post any questions you like me to ask John when he comes on the show.

I adore Dr. Bindernagle. Can’t help it, he just has the natural gift to teach. Love all his videos or when he is on a documentary.
So excited to hear from him, Thank you, Wes!!

Hey Wes,
I’d like you ask him a couple.
“In your knowledge, what incident or sighting or something he witnessed sticks out as the best credible evidence?”
“Does he believe they knowingly utilize infra sound ?” If so…..”To what degree?
“Can he give an estimate of a population? Alaska, BC, WA, OR, PNW?”
“Does he believe they tend to their dead?”
“Does he believe that a Sasquatch would eat a human if opportunity arose?”
“Has he ever been contacted or asked for information by any govt agency?”
“Has he ever had reports or evidence in his possession suddenly turn up missing? or blatantly stolen?”
Thanks.
Kenny H
Does he believe giganthropothicus was as hairy as one of the varieties of Sasquatch ?
If he were given the honor of providing the genus/species for Sasquatch what would it be?
What percent of time do you believe they spend in caves?
Eric B
I’d also like to hear his take on the sexual aspect of Sasquatch. Are they monogamous within their family ? or do they have multiple partners like many primates?

Hey Wes, thanks for all you do to provide a quality show! My question for Dr. Bindernagel: With all the natural disasters currently in Texas and the Southeastern United States, would that lead to more sightings due to migration away from the threat? Or are they more apt to shelter themselves in their natural habitat and stay put?
Melissa K
Dr. Bindernagle noted in one of his commentaries that wildlife biologist use an animal track as evidence to prove the existence of a mammal in an environment. I was impressed by this because we have some very credible people who have expressed they feel some Sasquatch tracks are more than likely real based on their experience. To name a few who, to me, stand alone on their expertise: Dr. Bindernagle, Dr. Krantz, Dr. Meldrum, John Green and Jimmy Chilcutt. With combined years of experience being about two hundred that is an impressive list of men whose opinions should convince anyone! I don’t understand why Sasquatch is so taboo or why so many people are totally closed minded about it? What is so surprising about another species of primate?

Hi Wes,
A couple questions.
1. Does the dr. Believe that Sasquatch might be behind the disappearances of the 411 missing persons that David pallides writes about?
2. We know the government is trying to keep all this secret but what is his opinion as to why they don’t acknowledge their existence?

Hi Wes,
I’m curious to know if Dr Bindernagel has looked into researching potential migratory patterns of the Sasquatch?
From the information out there, it appears that they’re a nomadic species. With this considered, one must then move to question patterns related to hunting/gathering, available shelter, and mating/safe harbor for the birthing and rearing of their young until old enough to migrate.
It may already be an area of study that is yet unknown to me, so I thought I’d ask.

Question, What does he know or think about the Miller Document?
I would appreciate his view on the subject
Thanks Mark

The public perception that bigfoot is fake is a huge obstacle to acceptance of the species as real. That attitude influences science more than science likes to think.
What do you think would happen if every witness wore a button saying “I saw a bigfoot” on a certain weekday of the year (sasquatch declaration day?) Or at least everyone who isn’t too chicken or who would make too much trouble for themselves by doing it, anyway. If we manned up, would that work, do you think?
If we made a grand gesture–brought a large group of people to a known sasquatch area and we all sang We Are the World or Handel’s Messiah or something–would it get the bigfoots’ positive attention. Might they understand such an overture? Pardon the pun.

They have language. They look like us. Are they an uncontacted tribe of humans living in our backyards?
Know anything of progress on working out their language? Scott Nelson still working on it, do we know?
Has anyone else taken a stab at their language?
Why might governments fail to acknowledge bigfoot is real? Is it just the general perception bigfoot is foolishness?
What is his opinion on the idea of a conspiracy to prevent disclosure to the public? Is it real? If so, any reasons surmised?
I understand Scott Nelson was in a car accident. ANyone know how he is doing? Was it an accident? Or maybe part of above conspiracy to get him to back off the language thing?
Has he experienced any mysterious hacking or MIB visits or anything like that? (He could always answer, “You might very well think so, but I couldn’t possibly comment.”)
What does he know about bigfoot that most people don’t know or that maybe no one knows?
What branch of science might be the best to approach with physical evidence, should we have any? The most likely to play along even if they still doubt?
What do we do with some dead bigfoot we hap to find in the woods one fine day?
Why does he think people are suddenly seized with such terror when they see a bigfoot?
What would be the best way for me to convince a skeptical layman? Such as one I might be married to?
How can we communicate with them to initiate contact between our two species? Or would it be a a bad idea?
What is his opinion on the idea of several kinds of bigfoots?
Reports are scattered all over the INternet. BFRO doesn’t seem to generate many reports any more. Older databases and sources have old compilations, but for new reports, what would be the best other central place to which people might report sightings? Should one be started if there isn’t one now?
How much time does he think they spend in trees?
Where do they “den up”? Do they have home structures? Caves? Underground? All of the above?

Glad to hear he’s coming back , just love listening to him . He’s one of the good guys . To be so interested in an an undocumented creature that you move to where it has been seen to research it, that takes a certain amount of courage . If you were a biologist what would your spouse think if you told him or her you were moving to Canada to do that ? Mine would say we’ll see you later tell me how it went and maybe send me Ramen Noodles and a lump of coal for Xmas . I hope you continue to have him on your show he is one of my favorites .

Have you ever heard of Bigfoot being in the uk and have u seen a Bigfoot before
Shelly S
Great questions, all of them! Can’t wait to hear the show!

Who would a person contact if they had a body or body part? Obviously you would want to contact any federal agencies. And it seems that when anyone has contacted local law enforcement, they always contact the feds!
Ruth T
Sorry typo, ” WOULD NOT” want to contact feds!
