Tampa Jay writes “Taking one of the most scenic and lesser-known drives through the Great Smoky Mountains, the Foothills Parkway to visit the brand new Smoky Mountain Sasquatch attraction near Pigeon Forge, Tennessee!

From incredible mountain views to roadside Americana and Bigfoot-themed fun, this adventure is perfect for Smoky Mountain travelers, Sasquatch fans, and anyone looking for unique things to do in East Tennessee. Also, one of the best burgers I’ve had in the smoky mountains!”

A listener writes “Wes I haven’t seen the big guy. But I saw something that I have never been able to explain. Two accounts two very different things. The first thing was an orb about the size of a large beach ball came flying silent.

Glowing a soft white light. It had light blue edges to it. It came in through the trees about 50 yards away to my left. It came to the ground at an angle just in front of my truck about 30 yards in front of me. I stopped and it struck the ground and went splat.

All of the white light spread all over the ground like a snowball being smashed into a sidewalk. Then the light and orb faded out. There was nothing there after it happened. It was one of the craziest things that I have ever seen. This happened at around 11:30 pm. The next thing was in the middle of broad day light. I have always worked second shift. I was heading into work I worked about 25 miles from home and I was heading through my hometown.

Right outside of town is a really small low place where there is a creek with a bridge over it. Just as I get over the bridge. This great big black mass. I’m talking half of a football field. In size runs across the road. It was like a shadow from a cloud but in the middle it was solid. I stopped. The lady coming towards me the opposite direction stopped. We both got out of our vehicles. She yells out, what in the hell was that?

All I could do is shake my head. It didn’t make any sound. It obscured our view of the road . When the center of this blob of black came through. It was strange.”

A listener writes “Hey, I’m in Miramichi tonight, where my family is from, listening to your Quantum Bridge Project podcast. I’ve listened to you for years, and that brings me to why I’m writing about my daughter, Emmy.

Emmy and I have both listened to your podcast for a long time now, but before she ever heard your show, she had an experience on our property in southern West Virginia, near where I grew up. I was the first in my family born in the USA to Canadian parents who moved to West Virginia for work. I spent my school years in West Virginia and my summers in New Brunswick, where my family is originally from.

I grew up spending a lot of time outdoors camping, backpacking, kayaking whitewater rivers, and traveling all over the USA chasing mountains and rivers. Over the years, I’ve had experiences I could never fully explain myself, but that’s not why I’m emailing you.

I’m writing because my daughter Emmy wanted her story shared with you.

Emmy is 13 years old now, but this happened when she was around 7 or 8. When she was younger, maybe around 5, I taught her how to build fires in the fire pit beside our house near the tree line and hay fields. One evening, we started a fire together and were hanging out outside. She had built a little fort with blankets and camp chairs, and we were sitting by the fire.

At one point, I told her I needed to run inside quickly to use the bathroom and grab a snack and drink. I told her to keep an eye on the fire and that I’d be right back.

After I went inside, used the bathroom, and grabbed some chips and a drink, I headed back toward the porch door. Before I could even get outside, Emmy was already there trying to get in, crying uncontrollably and clearly terrified.

I opened the door and asked her what happened. She told me there was something very large, tall, and dark standing at the edge of the woods near a big pine tree, watching her while she sat by the fire.

She said she looked several times because she thought maybe it was just her imagination, but it never went away. Eventually she realized it was real, and that’s when she panicked and ran toward the house. She said when she reached the back steps, about 100 feet from the fire, she completely broke down crying. That’s when I met her at the door as I was coming back outside.

I asked her to show me where she had seen it. Near the large pine tree, the leaves on the ground were flattened differently from the surrounding forest floor, like something heavy had stood or crouched there. There were no footprints, just compressed leaves unlike the rest around them.

I also noticed a broken pine branch roughly 8 feet high. I’m 6’3”, and even stretching my arm above my head, I couldn’t reach it.

That night, after she calmed down, Emmy explained more about what she saw. She told me it was big, dark, and had glowing red or orange eyes reflecting like the firelight. She also said she could see hair on the arm that was holding onto the pine tree. According to her, it just stood there silently watching her.

The next day, in daylight, I asked her to show me the spot again. She took me to the exact same location without hesitation. The flattened leaves were still there, and the same branch remained bent or broken. Emmy told me she wanted me to email you and share what she experienced.”

A listener writes “I’ve been a listener for quite a while, and finally decided to write down my experiences. The first happened in the mid 1970s, and the second in the late 1990s. I’ve also had a few odd paranormal-ish experiences, but not sure if they’re relevant.

I don’t know the exact year of my first experience, but it was in the mid-1970s, so I would guess I was between 5 and 8 years old. I grew up in east-central Wisconsin near the shores of Lake Michigan, roughly halfway between Green Bay and Milwaukee, in a rural area that was largely farms and farmland, but with single family homes scattered here and there, often separated by fields and/or small tracts of woodland.

My parents and I were going on a road trip, and they’d risen well before dawn, before the first hint of dusk was in the sky. In the pitch black they had gotten me out of bed, and put me in my sleeping bag in the back of our station wagon which was parked on the driveway outside our garage.

I’ll point out that this was unusual, and was actually the only occasion they’d ever done that. Our trips usually involved camping, which meant packing a bunch of gear into the back of the car, but this time there was room for me to stretch out and sleep. My assumption is the trip was probably to visit our relatives in Wyoming, which meant two full days of driving, and would also explain why they decided to leave so early in the “morning”.

Being moved from bed to car had woken me up, of course, but I was quickly getting comfortable in my sleeping bag. The garage was still open and lit by a single ceiling bulb, and my dad had left the car dome light on for me, but neither provided significant illumination. I heard my dad go back inside, shutting the door loudly, in his usual manner. I was just getting comfortable and beginning to nod off when I was startled fully awake again by what sounded like the “tap-tap-tap” of a fingernail on the car window. Several thoughts shot through my mind in quick succession. The first was “I thought dad went inside”. I decided he must have come out again, but what did he want, and why would he tap on the window? Lastly, I realized I hadn’t heard the house door slamming shut, and that puzzled me the most.

I’d been lying on my left side, head toward the front of the car, and the tapping had come from behind me on the driver’s side. I slowly rolled over halfway and turned my head to look where the sound had come from. There was some interior reflection on the windows from the dim dome light, but I could see there was something outside the car. I stared at the window trying to figure out what I was seeing, and then realized that there was a face looking back at me. Not my own reflection, but something outside.

This was not a human face. It seemed to be something like an evil looking wolf/dog with tall pointed ears and a long muzzle. It was motionless, but its eyes were fixed on me, staring intently from beyond the glass with its mouth just slightly ajar. A wave of fear swept over me. It was motionless, which made me question what I was seeing, and I wondered if the dim light was tricking my eyes with some strange reflection. Despite my rising fear, in my confusion I squinted my eyes, trying to figure out if this was just some odd illusion. As if reacting to my squint, the creature jerked its jaw open a bit wider, menacingly showing a bit more teeth. I was convinced – not an illusion! In my terror I spun round throwing the sleeping bag flap over my head to hide from the sight of the horrible thing.

What happened next I can’t explain. Maybe this type of experience just makes a child’s brain shut down, because despite my terror, I must have somehow fallen asleep while hiding in my sleeping bag. The next thing I knew, I was woken up by the sound of the car’s back hatch opening, and I suddenly remembered the monster. I threw the sleeping bag flap from my face in a fight-or-flight moment, preparing to scramble for my life over the front seats. But to my relief it was my dad loading luggage into the car, and in a minute or two we were on the road.

As frightening as the experience was, I never said anything about it, either to my parents or anyone else, until only very recently. I’m not certain why not, but I guess because I had no explanation for what I’d seen, and it had been so incredibly strange and terrifying, I probably doubted anyone would even begin to believe me.

If I had to put a name to what I saw, I’d simply call it a Werewolf, whether or not it was an actual shape-shifter. I only saw its face, but the head gave me the impression of an upright body, and it was clearly intelligent and purposeful, because it actually tapped on the window to get my attention.

My second experience happened in August of 1997 while visiting a college friend at his parent’s house south of Grand Rapids, Michigan. We both enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking, foraging, and the like, and since we had several days worth of time we decided to go camping. We were able to find a camp ground at a location called Ely Lake to the southeast of his parents place, and headed there for one overnight.

It had been very dry that August, so when I set up my tent I didn’t bother putting the rain fly on it. We lit a campfire and stayed up relatively late, which was normal for us, and finally hit the sack around probably 11:30 or midnight. I’m not sure how long I was asleep, but at some point I woke up, I’m guessing probably 1:30 to 2 AM-ish, and since there was no rain fly obstructing my view, I decided to check if I could see any stars. As I lay there looking up at the sky, off to the south of us I heard a long, deep, wailing cry, quite far away but incredibly powerful for the distance the sound had apparently traveled.

The first words that went through my mind were “what the hell is that!?”. I lay still and listened, and the call was repeated another 4 or 5 times, at intervals of maybe 15 to 20 seconds or so. While listening, I racked my brain trying to identify the beast. I guess I’d say I have a moderate knowledge of the outdoors and wildlife. I’m no novice in the woods, but not an expert either. Growing up I’d been taken camping every year, had canoed the Boundary Waters in Minnesota, and had gone grouse hunting each Autumn with my dad. What I was hearing didn’t fit any of the categories I had. I’d also grown up across the road from a dairy farm, and I’d heard cows bellow many times, and I was sure whatever this was was at least that large, and maybe bigger. So I knew it wasn’t a cow, and I didn’t think elk or moose made that kind of noise, and anyway this was southwest Michigan, not the U.P. After the several cries I didn’t hear it any more, which was fine with me. I realized that, whatever it was, it had to be huge, and I was glad it got no closer than it had been. I fell back asleep, and by morning wasn’t thinking about it anymore, so I never even mentioned it to my friend.

It wasn’t until a couple years later that I became interested in the Sasquatch phenomenon, and perusing audio files online (probably on the BFRO website) I came across the recording of the Ohio howl. When I played it I was stopped cold because it was almost exactly what I’d heard that night in Michigan. I was speechless realizing that I’d actually heard a Sasquatch myself.”

A listener writes “Hello Wes, I have had these creatures on the property for the last 12 years. During these years they have been watching us, I have seen two of them clear as day, and I watched juvenile grow from large racoon size to larger than me in just 3 years. I also have footage of a dogman.

I would love to talk to someone who actually believes me. Thank you for your time and podcast, it really helps me get through some rough days. You can see the footage of the orb on YouTube (Cryptid Embryo) and the dogman footage is called (Dogman of Dudley) thanks again.”

I believe this is the Dogman of Dudley video the witness is referring to.

From The Shadows writes “An Appalachian Devil Monkey ran past Jason, a Georgia hunter, who was so stunned he forgot he was holding a gun. Jason also shares some other spooky tales from his life of living in a small Georgia town.”

Science Channel writes “From giant beams of light shooting down from the clouds, to CCTV footage of a woman being abducted in her sleep. Watch as we take you through some of the most bizarre and compelling extraterrestrial events ever caught on camera!”

A listener writes “This happened on the night of May 9th, a Saturday. We were in Arkansas for my daughter’s college graduation and had rented an Airbnb on Beaver Lake near Rogers, Arkansas. You could walk down to the lake from the house, although it involved a very steep staircase, so we only went down once. The house sat high on a hill overlooking the water, and the view was beautiful.

Knowing Arkansas has a lot of Bigfoot lore, I naturally started thinking about Sasquatch stories in the area. The house wasn’t isolated exactly it was in a lakeside neighborhood with other homes nearby but it was definitely far outside town.

The Airbnb itself had huge windows all across the back and sides, plus multiple levels of decks overlooking the lake. Because the house sat on such a steep hill, it felt like there were three or four stories of decks stacked down the slope.

Every night before bed, I made sure to close all the blinds on those giant windows. Partly because I hate the idea of critters outside at night, but honestly because I was irrationally terrified of looking out and seeing a Sasquatch peeking through the glass. Ridiculous, I know but I also have lingering trauma from being a teenager when I dealt with a peeping Tom constantly looking through my bedroom windows. Ever since then, windows at night make me uneasy.

Anyway, this was our third night there.

Around 11:30 p.m., my dog needed to go outside, so I took him out and brought him back in. He had been stressed about staying in a different house and had already had two accidents inside, so I was hyper-vigilant about making sure he got outside when he needed to.

Then around 3:30 a.m., he started wandering around the room sniffing and pacing. He wasn’t scared or whining, just investigating something. I was half asleep and got up because I thought he probably needed to go out again.

My husband asked, “What are you doing?”

I said, “I’m worried he has to go to the bathroom.”

And my husband replied, “At this point, who cares?”

So I laid back down, trying to fall asleep, but the dog kept sniffing around the room like something had his attention. The master bedroom was directly beside the deck where all of this happened, so if something was outside, he absolutely would have noticed it.

Now, I’m a very light sleeper. I wear earplugs at night, and both my husband and I use CPAP machines, so my hearing is already muffled while I sleep.

Around 4:15 a.m., I suddenly heard the loudest commotion at the deck door beside the bedroom. It was loud enough to hear clearly through the earplugs. It sounded like a series of heavy THUDS almost like someone dropping objects or slamming into the door with their shoulder trying to force it open.

Now let me back up for a second.

The night before, my mom and I had left a bag of kitchen garbage outside on the deck because we couldn’t find an outdoor trash can anywhere. We both looked at each other and said, “We probably shouldn’t do this because of critters,” but we didn’t know what else to do. In hindsight, we definitely should have just left it inside.

So when I heard the noise, I immediately assumed some animal had gotten into the trash.

The strange thing was that the sound didn’t really resemble scratching. It was more like banging or crashing. But in my sleepy state, my brain convinced me it was probably the dog pawing at the door because he needed to go out.

So I got out of bed, threw on my pajamas, and walked to the door.

There were no lights on outside, and the switch for the deck lights was several feet away, meaning I had to actually step out onto the deck in the dark to turn them on. The moment I stepped outside, I immediately felt this eerie atmosphere.

It wasn’t completely silent, but it was much quieter than the previous nights. Normally the area was incredibly loud with frogs, birds, insects constant noise. I had actually been shocked by how alive the woods sounded at night. But this time, almost everything had gone quiet.

I walked a couple of steps to flip on the light and immediately saw the garbage torn apart. I remember thinking, “Yep… figured that would happen.”

Meanwhile, my little dog had already wandered partway into the yard. I looked up to see where he was, and that’s when I noticed the footprints near the trash.

They were muddy footprints. Extremely fresh. Wet looking fresh.

And instantly I realized whatever made these is still here. I immediately called my dog back inside. Once back in the room, I stood there trying to decide what to do. I was still worried the dog needed to go out, but I also knew something had just been on that deck moments before. For some reason, I opened the door again to let him out but the feeling outside was so intensely wrong and creepy that I couldn’t even step onto the deck. I just knew whatever had been there was still nearby.

So I shut the door, went back to bed, and laid there replaying everything in my head. There was no strange smell. No growls. No obvious sounds. But the footprints bothered me because they genuinely looked like feet. One of them almost looked like a shoe print.

I kept trying to rationalize it. Maybe a bear? Maybe a cougar? But the shape didn’t look animal.

The other weird thing was the way the garbage bags had been opened. They weren’t shredded apart with jagged tears or bite marks. The bags looked almost neatly pulled open like someone had used their hands to tear them apart and sort through the contents.

Even stranger, there were only about four visible footprints. It looked almost like whatever it was had climbed over the deck railing, crossed the porch, then jumped back off once all the commotion happened with my dog. The next morning, I went back outside to look again. The muddy prints had dried overnight, so they had lost some detail compared to when I first saw them wet, but they still clearly resembled footprints.

My husband put his shoe next to one for comparison. He wears a size 13, and the print was fairly large, though honestly I’d estimate it was probably closer to a size 8 or 9 human foot. So if it was something unusual, it definitely wouldn’t have been huge maybe even juvenile sized.

I took photos of the prints, which I’ll attach. I don’t think it’s good enough for any sort of show. I don’t even think it’s like an encounter. I’m not even sure what it was, but I thought hey at least you would have the pictures and you could add it to your records.

The Lizard Man of Lee County is one of the most well-known cryptid legends in the American South. Most sightings and reports originated in the swampy region surrounding Scape Ore Swamp near the town of Bishopville during the summer of 1988.

The legend gained national attention after a frightening encounter reported by 17 year old Christopher Davis. According to Davis, he was driving home late one night after visiting friends when his car suffered a flat tire around 2 a.m. on a remote road near the swamp. He pulled over and began changing the tire in the darkness.

As he worked, Davis claimed he heard strange noises coming from nearby brush. At first, he assumed it was an ordinary animal, but moments later he said a large creature suddenly emerged from the swamp and charged toward him.

Davis described the creature as standing nearly seven feet tall with greenish, scaly skin, glowing red eyes, and long claws with three fingers on each hand. He said the creature appeared both reptilian and human-like, with incredible strength and speed.

Panicked, Davis jumped into his car and sped away. He later claimed the creature leapt onto the roof of the vehicle and clawed at it while he swerved down the road trying to escape. When he finally reached safety, he discovered deep scratches and damage along the roof, mirrors, and exterior of the car.

Local law enforcement investigated the incident, photographing the damaged vehicle and examining reports of unusual tracks found near the swamp. News of the encounter quickly spread throughout Lee County, and soon other residents began reporting sightings of a similar creature.

Two men claimed they had been chased away while collecting water from a spring in the swamp area. Around the same time, local residents Tom Waye and Mary Waye reported mysterious damage to their vehicle after leaving it parked near the swamp. They described scratches, bite like marks, torn molding, and damaged wiring beneath the hood.

Investigators also discovered strange three-toed footprints in the area. Plaster casts of the tracks were reportedly made, though wildlife experts were unable to positively identify them.

By August 1988, the story of the Lizard Man of Lee County had become a national media sensation. Television coverage, including reports from major networks like CBS, brought widespread attention to the mystery. Public fascination grew so intense that a South Carolina radio station eventually offered a $1 million reward for the capture of the creature.

The Confessionals writes “I was part of the pastor alien disclosure meeting everyone is talking about, and there is a lot people are getting wrong.

This was not a secret government meeting. It was a private Christian intelligence effort to better understand what is really happening behind disclosure, the technology involved, and the spiritual deception surrounding the alien narrative.

Today, I’m sharing what actually happened, why pastors were involved, and why I believe this conversation matters for the church right now.”

Bigfoot and Beyond writes “Cliff Barackman, James “Bobo” Fay, and Matt Pruitt celebrate seven years of making this podcast! After catching up about the latest events and adventures, the trio discuss the oft-debated subject of specimen collection and its implications.”

YouTuber Bob Gymlan writes “This video covers perhaps the greatest story of our lifetime. I don’t often mention this on my channel, but disclosure, government acknowledgement of UFOs, UAPs, ETs, aliens, is extremely important to me, for reasons both obvious and personal.

This video covers eleven disappearances of people related to high levels of classified knowledge. I also get into my personal experiences with UAPs and possible ETs.

I’m usually reluctant to be optimistic, but I sincerely think Disclosure is close.”

Tonight we’ll be speaking with Jason, who will share two unsettling encounters. The first took place during a trip in Central Oregon, where numerous campers had gathered for an event. Jason describes encountering a massive, nearly unclothed man who spoke in gibberish and behaved in a very strange manner.

Jason said “I had two different encounters in my early twenties. I believe that the encounters were with two completely different species.” The second incident occurred while camping in Alaska in the early 2000s. I’ll also be sharing several historical accounts that may connect to Jason’s first encounter.

Matt writes “Hey Wes, I have a crazy story from my time on the railroad involving what I believe was a squatch, plus a strange frogman encounter I experienced when I was much younger around 21 or 22. I’m turning 42 soon.”

I spoke with the witness, who is from Massachusetts, and he shared several unsettling experiences that happened while working the rail lines. According to him, there was one particular stretch of track where strange activity was common. During one incident, the train was stopped when he suddenly heard something massive crashing through the air from the tree line about 30 feet behind him.

What happened next shocked everyone on site. A tree had been hurled like a spear, striking one of the rail cars with enough force to pierce straight through it, leaving the trunk protruding from both sides. One of his co-workers immediately told him, “That was Sasquatch.”

The witness went on to describe several other bizarre incidents in the area and said workers were often warned not to talk about what they experienced out there.

We will also be speaking to Jacob. In March of 2026 Jacob and his friend were in Florida driving on the highway when they noticed a ball of light following them over the bed of the truck.

A listener writes “My husband and I are originally from Arkansas, and he was recently stationed back here for his final duty assignment before retirement. We’ve always been big outdoors people hunting, fishing, hiking, backpacking, kayaking anything that gets us outside.

Over the years, we’ve had a few strange encounters, and even my grandmother, who lives in a rural part of Arkansas, has had some of her own.

Last weekend, we decided to float the Buffalo River and do some primitive camping. Not long after getting on the water, I was taking in the scenery and admiring the massive bluffs when I noticed a cave. As I focused on it, I saw movement off to the right along the bluff. At first, I assumed it was hikers, which isn’t unusual in that area. I pointed it out to my husband and said it looked like an adult and a younger teen.

But then I realized something was off they appeared completely brown in color. As I tried to get my husband to look, they suddenly disappeared into the cave. That’s when it hit me there aren’t any trails in that specific area that I know of, and we’re pretty familiar with that region. They were gone before he could see them, which was frustrating because I wanted confirmation of what I saw.

As the day went on, I tried to rationalize it and mostly brushed it off. We floated for several more hours, had a great time, and eventually reached our campsite. We built a fire, cooked dinner, had a couple of drinks, and enjoyed a rare kid free night.

Sometime during the night, I woke up suddenly, my body shaking uncontrollably. My husband noticed and thought I was just cold it was in the 40s so he pulled me closer. But I told him I felt sick. He eventually fell back asleep, and that’s when I noticed a bluish white ball of light hovering outside our tent.

At first, I thought it might be the moon, but it didn’t make sense. The light was coming from the wrong direction, and it seemed to be moving slightly. As I focused on it, I became violently ill getting sick about every 30 minutes for several hours. It was so intense that I genuinely felt like I might be dying.

At some point, I realized the light was gone. Not long after that, the sickness stopped. I remember just lying there, hoping it was over so I could finally get some sleep.

I hadn’t planned on sharing this, but today, while cleaning my house, I listened to your newest episode the one where Rick talked about a woman who became sick after seeing a similar ball of light, possibly related to radiation exposure. The timing and similarities were hard to ignore.

What’s also strange is that my husband and I ate and drank the same things that day, and neither of us drank much. He never got sick, and I was the only one who saw the light.

As for my grandmother, she lives on about 10 acres in a rural part of central Arkansas. Since my grandfather passed, she’s experienced several unexplainable things around her home. One night, she called me and said it sounded like “a UFO or something supernatural” sped down her gravel, hilly road at what she described as an impossible speed. She was adamant it wasn’t a vehicle or anything mechanical she said it sounded like a freight train barreling down the hill in front of her house.

Her home is a large log cabin deep in the woods very dark at night, with very few nearby lights. It was also my childhood home, and whenever we were stationed in other states, we would stay there when visiting since she has several extra rooms.

Another experience that stands out happened during a Thanksgiving visit. We arrived late, around 9 or 10 p.m., and after unloading the car, we stood outside for a moment, enjoying the cool night air we had been living in the desert at the time. Suddenly, we heard a massive roar that you could feel in your chest. We all looked at each other and immediately asked, “Did you hear that?” Then we ran inside.

We’ve also spent time at a hunting camp in southern Arkansas. Sitting alone in a deer stand before sunrise, I’ve heard things in those woods that I honestly don’t think I want explained. At 5 feet tall and 120 pounds, some mysteries feel better left alone.

I thought you might find these experiences interesting. We truly appreciate your podcast.”
