1944 Two large sasquatches fighting over a deer carcass

Rummaging around in old files, I found this one unusual report about “fighting” from a man by the name of George Brusseau who claimed his grandfather Elliott told him about an encounter with two sasquatch due west of Nighthawk, Washington off what is now Log Camp Road, (or near there) …this was during the war, 1944; when the giants would come down across the border from Canada in late summer.

”Grandfather Elliott was on leave from the South Pacific, hunting with some old buddies for fresh meat, which was rationed during wartime. They hoped for a deer but would settle for a rabbit or a couple of wood hens whichever came first when they happened on a terrible ruckus. They saw two big hairy males, each with their hands clasped together in club fashion, using them as weapons on one another; swinging their arms and clasped hands with full force knocking the other down until both were on the ground trying to get to their feet.

They were making groaning sounds, not screaming, just sounds of intense effort being launch at the other with each swing. The object of the disagreement appeared to be a dead deer where at one point the bigger sasquatch (approx 7′ tall or better) picked it up and swung the dead deer full force into the side of the face of the other hairy one who was probably six and a half feet tall, felling him to the ground. He didn’t move, he laid there, his chest heaving. The other big foot stared down at him for a few minutes, as if waiting for the fallen one to get up, then as the downed hairy one tried to get back to his feet, the winner took the deer and headed off into the trees. The dust settled and the other one got to his feet and trailed after the other one. It was all over in a few minutes.”

Brusseau’s grandfather said there were other stories from the area, but none so violent or as terrifying to watch as this one. Brusseau said his grandfather remembered hearing about those big men that would come down from Canada and dive in for lunker bass around Palmer Lake, especially when the bass was spawning. That is all I remember of his sightings.

    Thanks, Wes. Cool story! Lunker Bass; now you’re shouting! I remember what lunker bass are. We used to see them three or four feet down in the clear water, just outside of the bogs that had crept out from the swampy area. It was a virtual haven for these giant blue-gill eaters! Several had been caught, and weighed over 12 pounds! Now that’s a big-big mouth!

    Some people get all the luck!?! I bet that would be a popular sport for man’s selfish entertainment… an underground, black market gambling ring watching captured sasquatch fight till the death, or hell through a human in there too just to see what happens?! I’d pay $$$ to see that!

        Wow! Now my gears are really turning!

        Our entire society is driven by our desire for money. So, if we took the time to create profitable avenues, (using sasquatch as the subject), and integrated these ideas into mainstream media, I suspect our government may be open to the idea of acknowledging BF as a legitimate species living amongst us. After all, everyone has a price!

        The possibilities are endless, although many would agree the ideas to be immoral, inhumane, unethical, and illegal. For example, (BTW I am not actually supporting these suggestions) billions of dollars can be made from such proposals as:

        Sasquatch cage-fighting, wrestling, MMA, etc., which is GREAT for gambling;
        Sasquatch hunting season, utilizing the most advanced technology for gear, protection, weapons, ammo, etc. purchased from such places as “SASQUATCH MART”;
        The companies created to buy and sell these products, and let’s not forget all the chemists, engineers, and scientists who helped developed them as well;
        Sasquatch pornography…directors, writers, editors, camera men, lighting, make-up, etc. for such flicks as “Harry and the Henderson’s Naughty Daughter” or”The Legend of Booby Creek” or “Hot and Horny Co-eds with a Hot and Horny Sasquatch”;
        OR a more humane approach…developing sasquatch habitat for research or guided tours;
        Educational museums;
        Parks and recreation dedicated to this new discovery, perhaps an amusement park named “SASQUATCH WORLD”, along with merchandise for the whole family (also designed and sold by various companies) 🙂 !
        Sasquatch themed hotels and restaurants for those who now believe;
        Universities/Colleges offering sasquatch courses and degrees (even sasquatch mascots);
        New television shows regarding the history, science, etc. of sasquatch or even a stupid reality show such as “Naked and Afraid…with Sasquatch”;
        Let’s not forget the medical and pharmaceutical industries…I’m sure there will be many accidents and/or deaths, and speaking of death what a great way for the funeral homes and florists to profit;
        Also, with all the PTSD, people will now finally be able to visit psychologists/psychiatrists without embarrassment, AND Dr. Matthew Johnson will finally have patients to treat (with any luck)!

        There is, potentially, a lot of $$$ to be made. (I hope no one thinks I’m actually serious?)

    Deborah m. James is referring to Bear and Coonbo recounting a whole episode on their show about Sasquatch using horses and such for, well let’s say, R and R. Apparently, eyewitnesses have reported Sasquatch raping horses. I know, weird, but that’s what he was probably referring too.

      • Jacqueline O

        James, I knew that you were referring to the Bear and Coonbo show, which needs to addressed 😉

        I just felt the need to leave a very sarcastic comment regarding human behavior…our incessant drive to exploit, use and abuse, re-exploit, and destroy our planet and all the life upon it with little thought to the consequences! We should be ashamed of ourselves!

    I seen a vid on utube of a bigfoot fighting a bear I look’s like a grizzly and if it’s staged the guy in the suit appears as big and stong as the bear, I thought it was sus but the more times I view it, the realer it seems, if you know if it’s fake or real ? please feel fee to tell me underneath, anyone thanks,peice

    Daniel, although pretty real looking, someone posted it was from a movie. The bear is probably in 300- 400 lb. range and is obviously trained. Bears when attacking go all out to kill and that one seems to be dancing with the trainer in the suit

    So why didn’t they shoot the already compromised Bigfoot that had is ass whipped? If they wanted meat – Sasquatch tastes like Chicken. Young ones are more tender.
