Yowie Sighting at the Royal National Park

While camping with friends on the South West Arm Creek in the Royal National Park, New South Wales, one of the men went for fresh water in a small boat after midnight.

As he came into the shallows and close to the water fall, he witnesses a tall hairy man standing up on a ledge watching him.

It turns and walks off into the bush.

This siting is 7km from my house. The Royal National Park is one of the oldest and largest national parks in the world. It is highly protected by the State and Federal Government as it was established for a hunting area for the English Royal family. It is well stocked with deer and has many restricted areas making it a great place to hide. These animals have adapted to the introduced deer and have been seen stalking them in suburban streets. Across from this location is Yowie Bay. Now an exclusive million dollar house suburb but has a history with a name like that.
