Yowiehunters Witness Reports writes “A Witness, dealing with a few of life’s personal challenges, accepted a close friend’s offer to travel west and work in an Opal Mine. This period was intended to provide solitude, coinciding with a new spiritual journey. Yowies are known for appearing in unexpected places – this episode serves as another example.
Reports of Yowie sightings span even the driest and most desolate areas. The presence of Yowies in arid wastelands adds an extra layer of complexity and unpredictability – highlighting their ability to appear anywhere at any time.
The far west of New South Wales is a landscape of red dirt, hard clay, and rocks containing traces of lead, zinc, and copper—ideal conditions for mining but not for forests.
Yowie Interaction with fire is rare, but it happens, just as in this story. Just when we think we’ve heard it all. A report like this comes along to surprise us. But we should all know by now, to expect the unexpected.
Yowies in the Arid West: and Unpredictable Encounters:
The journey of a Witness who, while facing personal challenges, set out west to work in an Opal Mine, illustrates how solitude and new environments can become the backdrop for extraordinary experiences. This period of isolation was not only a time of reflection and spiritual exploration but also became the setting for an unusual encounter.
Yowies are notorious for manifesting in the most unexpected places, and this episode serves as a compelling reminder of their elusive nature. Sightings have been reported from even the harshest, driest, and most desolate regions. Their presence in such arid wastelands adds a further dimension of mystery and unpredictability, emphasizing their ability to appear at any moment, regardless of place or circumstance.
The far west of New South Wales, characterized by its red dirt, hard clay, and mineral-rich rocks, offers an inhospitable environment for forests but ideal conditions for mining. Despite these conditions, tales of Yowie interactions have emerged—sometimes involving rare encounters with fire, such as the one described in this account.
Just when it seems that every possible story has already been told, a report like this challenges our assumptions and reminds us to always expect the unexpected when it comes to Yowies.”

Fantastic very close sighting and interaction at Lightening Ridge. First time I have heard of one pissing a fire out, and it seems for a very good reason. Every bit as good as some of the best on the Sasquatch Chronicles.
