The Patterson–Gimlin film is a famous short motion picture of an unidentified subject the filmmakers have said was a Bigfoot. The footage was shot in 1967, and has since been subjected to many attempts to authenticate or debunk it. With the 50th year anniversary coming up here is another look at the film.

I’ve tried really, really hard, to see that as a human in some kind of suit or costume. I just never could.
Thank you Wes, it may be, that’s the best footage we will ever view.

I’m just the opposite Kim, the more I watch it the more it seems like a person walking in a 3 or 4 part suit.

Jerry, this is an interesting series of videos by Bill Munns, a costume and special effects designer who has been in the industry for 40 years;

Well worth watching if you think it was a person in a costume

Thanks, I’ve seen every video ever made I think, and yea most say a costume is not possible, but when I look at it, it looks like 3 separate pieces, particularly the last few seconds that never get played when she is walking away into the woods. I don’t doubt the big guy exists, I’m just skeptical of this the more I look at it.
Pete M
I agree.

Anyone who doubts authenticity of Patterson-Gimlin should check out Youtube researcher M.K. Davis “Greenwave 2010”
He has done some incredible studies on this film…worth checking out.

The gait is not human, why would a costume hoaxer go to the trouble of making breasts? Why the extra work? Just saying IMO.
Jerry W
Maybe just so someone would say exactly that. On one of the Bigfoot shows they had a guy who said he was the guy in the suit, and he definitely walked just like her.
