A listener writes “I did have an encounter about 20 years ago in Oklahoma down by Lake Texoma.. My friend and I were returning at night from duck hunting, driving about 70 mph down Hwy 70 south of the lake.
Saw something out corner my eye standing in trees about 50 feet from hwy..It crouched down and took off with blazing speed [within 2 seconds] running from left to right crashing into back my truck, hitting me so hard would’ve spun out if not for dragging boat behind me and quick reflexes. Happened to look in my side mirror soon as it hit me and saw something auburn color with hair not fur!. We pulled over thinking whatever hit us was dead, but no signs of anything anywhere, no blood, nothing!
It was not a deer, bear, mountain lion, or anything indigenous to here. My friend and I looked at each other and just said “what was that?” Sasquatch never even entered into our minds especially here in Oklahoma! But after listening to you and the guests on your show, I’m now convinced that’s what it had to be? No thought of even being a Bigfoot or even werewolf back then! We didn’t know what we saw. But I always wondered why it hit back of truck. I believe it was intentional, it was hunting, and we ruined its hunt.”
