We Never Had Anymore Experiences There, We Moved.

A listener writes “We moved to Michigan. we were living close to a very small town called Morristown and for a reference that is close to a city called Kalkasa. I was in 7th grade.

My brother had built a house on 10 acres. The front was field but it was very wooded. Are closest neighbors were a ways a way but within eyesight. Night time I remember hearing wood knows a periodically woops or howls. I remember my dad calling the sheriff’s department and reporting the noises that we would hear. Eventually a sherriff’s car showed up on a Friday. They questioned my dad about the noises and they said that it’s probably coyotes howling or dog’s. Dad told me that one evening after we had went to bed that he kept hearing noises. I was asleep as well as my mom. But he told he had gone downstairs to look out the windows to see what he could see. Out in the field he seen a huge black figure moving towards the road and went down a dirt road on state land.

I remember we would go down this road to cut dead standing trees for firewood. But morning came. Dad requested that he needed to see a sheriff at our house. About 30 minutes later the same officer showed up. My dad told him about it. And the officer I think to pacify my father went down the dirt road. In about 20 minutes later that cruiser came racing out of that road and he was burning rubber headed back to the city. This is where things got interesting. It was about 4 hours later 3 military trucks we watched head down that road. These trucks were the kind you see that were camouflaged with the fabric tops that covered the back half. 2 sheriff’s cars barricaded the road off after the trucks went down it. We watched all this happen from the downstairs windows that faced that road. Those trucks were down there id say a little more than an hour when we heard full automatic weapons being fired.

Wes, this was scary. All this when we heard the gun fire just verified that everything that we heard and the huge figure my dad seen was exactly what we thought it was. 45 minutes later sheriff’s cars moved out of the way to let the military trucks out. We were already outside and seen the trucks leaving and the same officer came back down our driveway. My dad said hey, what’s going on down there. The officer said that the military was doing some training maneuvers. And dad said with live full automatic weapons? The officer just gave a look as if to say don’t ask. But yes and left immediately. We never had anymore experiences there. We moved.”

Wow. I hope this person comes on to give full account of another tactical crew going out to harvest a Bigfoot. Also would like to know which year. Me and friends and also our softball team would go this area in the late 70s to early 80s. I am quite certain this crew came from a short distance away, Camp Grayling, (Grayling, MI), which is a National Guard training base for the Midwest. The army also has a command there and it is for training on artillery. I am surprised they did not bring in some 105s or 155s and just blow the living hell out these woods. Also what kind of cooperation or information did the Sheriff of Kalkaska County have with Camp Grayling.

Sad what happens when people report these sightings to police, …the military come + kill them. Unless they are harming stock or people, best to just leave them alone.
