Well, don’t worry Todd, you can always make more muppets to make up for the decreasing Bigfoot population! Randles made a very interesting point about clear cutting in the PNW and it supporting the growth in population of Bigfoot’s favorite food staple.

It seems these gentleman fail to acknowledge the obvious…The Government is against them existing period … It has warehouses of proof, DNA Studies…Bodies and probably live specimens. Does anyone doubt the Government could prove beyond a doubt they exist? Research $$ dry up when the subject is involved…careers are de-railed if subject pursued. Their bones have been recovered entirely… skeletons intact only to be taken away never seen again… Fire victim bodies the same way. Playing against the referee’s too make “The Game” a tough one to win. Not sure if a successful hunt and kill ever would make it to the publics eye.

+1, we have warehouses full of stuff that mysteriously disappears from evidence lockers. I would love to have the job of keeping Americas secrets secret. Someday special ops guys will divulge some info. I hope

I am tired of people complaining about logging. Since thewwhite man came to this land, their are more trees than ever. Wherever logging is stopped, wild fires get out of control. Their are also a lot more deer than before, and I believe this is causing a boom to there population. Every year, less hunting licenses are sold because more people are growing up beliving that guns and hunting are bad. Wild meet is better for you and we all need to be hunting more. Mankind has the God ordained mission to manage the wild life, not just leave it alone to manage itself.

Oh my god, just shut up Todd Standing. You’re two cents means absolutely nothing to anybody who knows your shady background. There’s no information confirming any of what you’re saying. Just because you said the numbers of sasquatch are diminishing people are goin to think the complete opposite because it came out of your mouth. The fact that you have the balls to chime in on anything sasquatch related is insulting to the people who are genuinely trying to gather knowledge on the subject

What was not acknowledged in this question is the premise that the population may be decreasing due to fewer sighting reports. This premise was taken from a study from a group called Citylab that show only about 14 sighting reports came out from a recent year. Good grief. Bfro publishes 15 to 20 every month and only investigate 10 percent of the ones they receive. Many other sites and avenues for people to get their reports out now also. I have noticed a huge increase in reports coming in. Look at all the interviews on this show and I doubt more than 5 percent were reported to anyone except here.

Derek Randles had the best answer of the group. Deer populations and small critter populations have exploded over the past 20 to 30 years, in part to managed foresty. The forest giant populations seem to be moving into areas they were not in previously which may mean there populations are increasing. Also they seem to have gotten a better grip on living closer to human civilization under the cover of night and raiding farms.

Poor Todd, he’s just so self important, even if he had a valid point to make, it would come across as phony. Got to love that Les, having a puppet on the table, that was pure class! I don’t really feel like I should have an opinion on the subject they discussed, as I am not really out trying to gather data, but, if I did, I would have to agree with the gentleman who equated a healthy ungulate population with a healthy BF population, makes sense to me. I don’t think human encroachment on a habitat this size is going to endanger BF populations for a long time.

Why is Todd Standing even permitted to sit on ANY kind of board or give his opinion???? He is a hoaxer and his presence among those other researchers makes me ask, why they let him be there???!!!???

    • Carol S

      Allison,
The reason I suspect he believes himself to still be relevant is because he is still attached to Meldrum. I think Led Stroud saw the writing on the wall and pitched the hoaxer after his initial Bigfoot programs. Good on him.
