She fainted? I would have had a heart attack on the spot! How scary especially back then. Bigfoot was secret except for the Patterson/Gimlin film and that had only been shown in some venues for the past 3 or 4 years, I think. Scary. Can’t imagine them coming right up to houses..

Yep, that’s a scary story for sure.
I travel through Myrtle Point at night, on my way to Port Orford, I don’t pull over to pee, period!
Isn’t that BF statue at the beginning in Happy Camp?

I appriciate this information which confirms something for me.
About 7 years ago during the time my husband and I were separated I was living in our home alone. Our house is on the county live at the end of a dead end road next to a field. We have a tree line across the field which came around next to our home back then. One night a horrible smell woke me from a dead sleep. My bedroom is connected to the bathroom the door to the bathroom was open and the window in the bathroom was openwhich faces toward the field and the smell was coming from there. It smelt like a septic or sewage line busted but we don’t have a septic tank and I have never smelt that since and I have lived here since 1997. I told my husband about it 6 months ago. Then the other night while sleeping I heard wood knocking. I woke up but it had stopped. I thought maybe I had been dreaming but I have never had that dream before which seemed odd. I asked my husband about hearing anything he said he hadn’t but he heard a tree on the other side of the field fall over. I looked and sure enough it was knocked over. I know now these things are closer to us then we think. OMG

Gotta love that RMSO for bringing the BFRO reports to a visual state so we can get an idea of the geography of the areas these reports come from and Kelly Shaw is a really good person for making it happen.
