Watch: Is bigfoot roaming Whitehall, New York

Some call it the Yeti or Sasquatch, but it’s best known as Bigfoot. And some residents in Whitehall, New York say they have seen it first hand.

The town of Whitehall, New York is known for its undying interest in the unknown – Bigfoot. Whitehall has been the subject of a number of documentaries focusing on Bigfoot’s presence in the town and the entire Northeast.

“This is a global phenomena and it’s right in our backyard,” said Paul Bartholomew, paranormal researcher.

Bartholomew studies the Bigfoot phenomena, which dates back to ancient times around the world and the 1800’s in Whitehall. He says residents and law enforcement in the area have seen the creature, but the stigma and ridicule received upon saying so has hindered others.

“I think it’s something we should acknowledge and recognize, in that when someone has a sighting, they should be able to come forward with their sighting and not have to hide their sighting,” said Bartholomew.

    i paused the youtube player near the end on the photo of something hanging upside down nxt to a posed hunter with the words “only photo of a dead sasquatch taken in british columbia” any other photos of these anyone has seen? i seen the ones that pop up on a simple Google search but NONE of the firemen, police, forest service personnel, etc took any of the booger that had burns and other injuries that submitted to human help, or what about folks who claim to have shot and actually killed one. All sciene would need is a head, or an arm… i understand these things hunt in groups or pairs but theres got to be something somewhere…

    Dear, everyone; greetings from the un-thawing state of Wisconsin! Some years back, I saw a mini-doc, about this Whitehall place, I think it may have been a Monster-Quest, or something like it. Anyway, it was very well done, and everyone that was interviewed, including a couple of cops’, seemed very truthful. Cool place, wouldn’t mind living there myself! If someone can find that show, if it’s still around, it’s a great one to watch.
    Wes, I just want you to know, that I toasted you today with a great cup of coffee. Been praying for you-a lot. Stay close with your brother, cherish those moments; they are the best. David. P.S. The next time someone brings up “science-tist’s”, I’m gonna scream! Who gives a rats’ carbuncle what they say! They’re mostly a bunch of over-paid smart guys who survive off the tax dollars of folk’s that actually have to go to work everyday. It really is , O.K., you don’t need the opinions’ of the “really smart guys”, to live and think. Especially when they give asinine opinions, mostly about nothing at all. And, don’t forget this very thing; they, the “really-smart guys”, will never say or do anything, that absolutely flies in the face of so called evolution. It just won’t happen-cause they would lose their jobs. Think freely; let not your heart be troubled!

      Well said David D., if you can see it, it exists, if you can see it and hear it you KNOW it is real, if you can see it and hear it and it throws things at you and for over 200 years thousands of others report the same there is no need for further inquiry as to its existence!

    Hello all. I know I don’t post a lot but in this instance, I have to speak up. The Vermont pic has NOT been debunked. In fact just the opposite is true. Log on to http://WWW.SQUATCHDETECTIVE.COM. Click archive then click Vermont trail cam pic. Steve Kulls does an in depth analysis that I think you’ll want to see. Steve Kulls’ specialty is debunking hoaxers. He COULD NOT debunk the trail cam pic. Just look at the results. Steve’s reputation speaks for itself. Don’t just assume that things have been proven or not. This entire subject would be nowhere if we all assumed.
