Maybe it is my own nostalgia talking but I would love to see something like this come back to TV, maybe an updated version.

Watching In Search of when I was a kid was the first I believe I ever heard of Bigfoot. Love to see it revived although without Leonard Nimoy narrating it loses a little of the original mystique.

This still is the best series ever for unknown and cryptid things… I want this series on DVD so I can share (or is inflict?) with my son when he gets to be about 6 or 7…
However, its going to be VERY big shoes to fill with Leonard’s passing… Its the fact that Spock is talking about Bigfoot that makes it so AWESOME!!!! I’m mean… its just that voice.

Yes, this show was good, especially for that time period.
Did you notice the very realistic sounds of the “Samurai chatter” during the scenes of the men in the cabin at the beginning?
Seeing Grover Krantz in this old interview makes me wish he was still around. He seems to be very level headed and have an excellent mind for this subject.
There is a lot in this one show that sounds like it could be in the present day.

This is another good classical film.

The scariest moment on TV was during the In Search Of that showcased the Honey Island Swamp Monster. Still sends a chill up my spine. The closest thing to In search Of has been Monsterquest, but it too died a quick death.

I love it. Still truths today as was then. RIP Leonard Nimoy.
