Very strange camping trip

This isn’t Sasquatch related but it is interesting so say the least. A listener writes “Wes, while camping in the Pacific NW around the camp fire these shots were taken of my Brother-in-law.

See from the far left where the ghostly figure starts to appear, then in the middle, then standing behind Jim……Looks like the devil himself…..Just wanted to share”

    Wow , that is strange. It seems to be the same figure in 3 separate shots. I know very little about photography so I can’t judge it’s authenticity (scratches head).

    Could be a spirit. Could also just be smoke from the fire. I’ve seen many cases where people misinterpret cigarette smoke as spiritual…or dust particles as orbs

    I’m not an expert on photography, but it does look very much like a reflection/refraction through glass, like through a window or the lens of the camera. If you look through a window at a fire sometimes you might get a double image just off to the left or the right of the fire depending on your point of view. I reckon it’s a reflection/refraction of the guy sitting in the chair as each photo is at a slightly different angle on each shot.

    Either that, or it’s the devil himself!!

    Wes, I love Paranormal stuff, would it be possible for you
    to post the full image size? I would like to examine the
    photo more closely.
    I believe spirit was visiting the camp site.

    Very creepy! I wonder if they had any crazy stuff going on as well where they we’re canmped at. Also be interesting to know history of land. Thanks for sharing

    Was he vaping ? Those things can blow huge clouds of smoke these days. IF a pic was taken a second apart it may be able to look like a ghost or spirit. It’s creepy whatever it is.

    How can that be a reflection from glass and approach you. Not a reflection. How can that be smoke and keep it’s shape as it approaches. Not smoke. Get real people. Some seem to be wishful thinkers. It’s creepy. PERIOD…..

      I know! How can anyone automatically discount those three images by writing it off as a reflection or as smoke… especially smoke. Smoke generally rises and dissipates over a particular time period which in this case is presumably the time it takes to take three images from three slightly different angles… what smoke doesn’t do is hold its horned humanoid shape as it moves laterally camera left to camera right.

    It’s not smoke or a reflection off something(glass of some kind)! It’s not smoke because the figure of a man like object wouldn’t last that long and nor would that figure move as the same looking form as seen if it was smoke. It’s not a reflection of glass because I doubt if someone moved their car that late at night to cause the figure to move in the picture. It’s not a reflection off glass because the man sitting their has both arms down but the subject figure in the photo looks like it has an arm raised to just under shoulder height. This man was out there at the fire by himself so how can one figure be different then the other if it’s a reflection? It’s not from a camera because the subject(spirit for lack of another word) moves differently then the man in the chair. One point the spirit is at the far left, then some what left, then right of the guys right shoulder, yet it the camera really doesn’t move in relationship to the spirit! I don’t know what that subject, spirit, devilish thing or what ever you want to call it is but it seems to want to get close and have some type of interaction with the gentleman in the chair. Maybe a very large screen might clear up the question of what the subject really is!
