A listener writes “My friend Garrett and I were filming an amateur documentary about a missing persons case that happened back in 1993 I believe. The missing persons case happened in Brandingham lake in the Adirondacks, and my hiking cabin is only about 4 miles away.

We were hiking on the trail where he went missing on during the daytime, and pretty much the whole time we felt like we were being watched, and the woods were dead silent. After getting back to my cabin, we decided to go on a night hike near a cemetery. I brought my night vision camera to get some footage along with an infrared flashlight to help the camera.

Garrett had his flashlight and phone. In the video we recorded, you can hear rustling to the left of us just out of view. As we pan the camera around, at the time I didn’t see it but the camera picked up a white silhouette of a humanoid creature about 5-6 feet tall with a very large head and eyes. About a minute after the camera captured this creature, me and Garrett see this pale skinned creature on a hill about 200 feet in front of us.

It was dead still and we could see the outline of it. We didn’t know what it is, so we started jogging back. We both turned around and saw it only about 50 feet away from us now in the middle of the path. We then sprinted as fast as we could back to the cabin and luckily nothing else happened that night.

Ever since that encounter me and Garrett feel like we are being watched in that stretch of woods, and we wonder if this creature is connected to the missing persons case of Earl Eric Dunckel. We have a theory that whatever this thing is followed us from the path he went missing on back to the cabin, where we had our sighting. I will also send you a still frame of the video I recorded.”
