That picture is one of my favorites….when you compare the picture of the dog and the “sasquatch”….the size differeneces are amazing….and also what else could it be?
This one I have always liked and has always been an enigma. Cliff Barrackman spent several hours investigating this pic during their trip and on his blog some years ago detailed his findings. I read his report with fascination. Dr. Bruce Maccabee, an optical physicist famous in the UFO field, detailed his views on the shadow cast and determined the subject was farther from the camera, maybe 30 feet away, I forget, and was close to the ground and not up in the air, and thus was very large, in effect he said it was not an owl. This one will be argued for years to come.
Charles, I also saw that report and it was very interesting. I would like to see multiple experts weigh in on the picture. Why? Because even an expert can miss some items or can be flat out wrong sometimes and I think it’s a much lower chance that 5 experts working independently would all miss similar things or all get it wrong. I was pulling for it to be squatch because I lived close to that town when it happened, but my desire doesn’t outweigh the details my eyes see and logic my brain computes. The mystery continues!

It’s a Sasquatch.

It’s not an owl. It’s swamp gas reflecting of the light from Venus.
Its a squatch.

I clearly see an owl. No matter how much I would love for it to be a squatch, the details overwhelmingly indicate owl. Oh well.

Considering these things are out there…
