A listener writes “I live on Vancouver Island in the Parksville, Qualicum Beach area. I walk in the woods every day for the last 20 years or so and there is an area where I walk that many different things have occurred. ( I have noticed this a lot of activity….I assumed was just bears and cougars and activity has been way more in the last tow years since we had a wildfire up island a few years ago. Prior to that I really didn’t encounter anything or notice anything.
I see many many structures that just seem odd…..some of them are like 20-30 feet high. There are so many structures and trees broken and things placed. I have pictures I could send along if you want them.
I have been ….I have been stalked twice in the same area on a ridge ….it was beside me the entire time and I could hear it but not see it….t until I reached the end of the trail to my car ….I assumed it was a bear until I was seeing these structures and in the same general area…..about a hour walk away on another ridge I was walking down this hill with a friend and our dogs and off the side of the ridge and there was a weird grunt growl…again I assumed it was a bear. We left and walked about 15 min in a different direction and we saw a man with a wheel barrel discharging a dead deer….
Another time I was walking along the river in the same area ….past a fish hatchery. And there was an opening to see the river and dense bush around. I was looking at a herd of elk standing in the shallow river area and we looked at them and they took off into the bush on the other side of the river. I thought this was awesome to see the Roosevelt elk as they are so big and I know they are in the area I walk and have seen them a couple of times. I continued to walk the trail for a couple of min….as I was walking I then heard noises in the bush behind me and I just thought oh that is more elk headed to the river….because I have seen this herd before I knew the ones in the river were not all of the herd. I didn’t think much of it and continued to walk the trail….another min or two down the trail I heard a very strange howl. When I heard the howl I was like oh my I don’t know what that is and I am in-between this howl and the elk and it is time to get out of here…no sooner did I say that to my friend….there was two whoops and I leashed my dog and got out of there. A nerve wracking feeling as we were also about an hour walk out.
Now we do have wolves on the island however it is is very unusual that I am aware of to be in the location that I am in. I also asked the fisheries guys who come tot the fish hatchery and they said no wolves have been reported here.
I also came across two other women who I see walking periodically…..typically you don’t see anyone when walking. Anyhow, I asked her if she has heard or seen anything weird in the woods here…..she said along the same river trail they were walking and the dogs were ahead sniffing and a black thing ran across the trail very fast in front of them and it was on all fours and black and it was the size of a big dog…she said it was not a bear or a cub and to this day they do not know what it was it ran in front of them very fast and disappeared into the bush.
The other thing I had was walking up this hill ….and the same hill/ridge that the thing grunted growled at us….I was walking up and something caught my eye as down the side of the hill on the trail below to the left of me….it caught my eye and it was a few hundred feet away and went behind a tree …it was upright…but looked grey black but the weird part was it looked like a haze almost standing there. Had I seen it and it hadn’t moved I would not have thought anything of it …I would have thought it was shadows of trees or something but the movement caught my eye and l looked and saw it move behind the tree.
I don’t know what to make of all of this….sometimes when I do in the bush I get part way down the trail and get a bad feeling and turn around immediately and sometimes it feels fine in there. I have seen so many of these structures and thins and I started to try to research and try to figure out what they are and this is how I found your show. When I have listened to some of the encounters …It makes me rethink things. The stalking …..I totally feel like I was paced out…. Interesting as well….the location of this ridge there is a huge farm fields with nothing on the farm….just grass…and I have seen elk there in this field. Anyhow, again, I am not sure what is going on, if it is bears but somethings don’t; make sense the structures . I keep trying to figure it out and was wondering if you have talked to people on Vancouver Island that have similar situations. I continue to walk there and my mom keeps asking me why I go into the woods at all…..I love my walks and there is a huge part of me because I haven’t seen something I don’t want it ruined as I probably wouldn’t go back… and I will be clear I do not want to see anything…I am not looking for it. I just don’t know what is going on.
Anyhow, it took me sometime to even get the courage to speak of this because I don’t want to sound nuts….or like I am trying to make something our of nothing.
Mostly I am so curious if you have heard of anything like this here in my area.”

Vancouver Island does have a population of Sasquatch, and an elk herd would be a draw to them. I would like to see some pics you have taken of the structures, which always amaze me, as have finds I have seen in both Michigan and Ohio.

sounds like Englishmen river area? or Qualicum river. I’m familiar with that area although the only time I was in the deep farm lands was in coombs when I was a kid and me and my friend were 11 years old. we got turned around big time and had to follow a stream back to the property through thick bush, that creekside stick bush. the whole time something was pacing us but we were too young to figure it out. we thought it was deer or at worst a bear. thinking back now the steps were way too heavy and deer wouldn’t pace us they run away. we were scared that we were really lost if it wasn’t for the creek we would’ve lost all direction. thats is some thick country with a lot of water and food resources. we also saw some bizarre structures and told his dad there were homeless people living down along the creek and we thought they were natives cause at that age we thought they were teepee’s. definitely not native people.

It seems like more than just Vancouver, BC is a hotbed for Sasquatch activity… The letters “BC” might be a clue. Other than British Columbia “BC” represents human history dated before Christ. I’m betting there’s people still who didn’t understand the memo 2024 years ago, still worshipping BC gods in this AD timeline. Then you have those that do not believe in Christ or The Father or any God/god at all, unknowingly aware they themselves might be influenced by something in a spiritual realm they don’t know is real.
Some people may even think they themselves are some type of god or have godlike powers or rely on knowledge or an agenda they think is from a demigod or some form of unexplained intelligence, (I think that’s a pretty reasonable idea to suspect that)… We don’t always make the best choices or have the best intentions or a keen sense of intuition to follow.
I think the combination of all these chaotic beliefs (some of them very negative) might be part of the reason there’s so much strange unexplained activity going on everywhere. Humanity isn’t focused enough on going forward as a collective with our own independent yet positive beliefs in what is right and with the best intentions for everyone.
I haven’t had much for synchronicities in a week or so now and it definitely feels less exciting and more room for error without guidance, but it also seems like I need to focus on other things in my personal life at this time. I guess if it needs to happen again it will when the time is right… It isn’t up to me but I’m also trying to not jeopardize my chances of it happening again by being or doing anything negative, I think that is key.
