A listener writes “Hi Wes. I’ve never considered being on your show until a last year, when I had my 1st and only encounter. In the ’70s my mother was in Beaver Utah on a girl scout camping trip and hit one with a cast iron frying pan that was snorting like a pig and brushing against her tent. We are LDS and it’s against our religion to lie.
My mother has never told a lie that I’m aware of, she told me this 22 years ago, when I was 18, after my brother and 2 sisters, ages 6, 5, and 4 were chased down behind a steep rock cliff behind my parents house on there 30 acre property by what they called a bear, running after them on its two legs.
I have a best friend that seen a white Bigfoot running in front of his car up ahead of him between Delta Utah, and Nephi. These things are all over Utah. Almost my whole family(all 10 of us) have seen one. And I know soon many people, friends, uncles, that have seen one and these are people that wouldn’t lie, let alone about this topic. All the encounters besides mine happened between the 70s and the early 2000’s.”
