Spoke to Dave who is a member of the Quinault Nation. He has agreed to come on the show and share his encounters with the Ciatko (See-ott-co), which roughly translates Stick Indians and Night People.
Dave writes “I am a member of the Quinault nation. I’ve been a fan of your show for years, and I have had multiple encounters with the Ciatko. (See-ott-co) as we call him in my native dialect. Some of which were visual sightings. The others were growls and whistle encounters.
I fished graveyards on the lower Quinault river and nights on the river are scary when the big guy is around. One week in particular there was a lot of activity. The strange lights were witnessed by my whole village a couple times. I never saw him when we saw the lights though.

Anyways one week the fishing was good, and we were catching a lot of fish. We were fishing one night and it got dead silent and you could hear a pin drop. Out of the eerie quiet a rock hit near my net. My late friend Bradley said “nice we have fish hitting “ I said “no brother that part of the net is rolled up!”
As I finished saying that the brush came alive and we seen a huge Rick come flying towards my boat from the hillside. We immediately knew what it was. Next we heard what I can only destiny e as a growl. It sounded very sinister but it at the same time gave me the feeling he wanted something. So we gave him a fish. By gave I mean we left it there and got out of there.
There were a series of events in the days prior that led up to this and there were events after that led to a sighting g by multiple individuals including myself! This guy was white or grey. I’d love to talk to you about the whole account and my other encounters in the coastal rainforest of my tribe.
I’d love to discuss what my beliefs are with you.”

Looking forward to listening!

my apologies for the misspelling in my email. I sent it while at work 😅 so I was trying to type fast.

No worries Dave ! “Auto correct” gets most us even when we’re not in a hurry ! Lol

I definitely want to hear about these old beliefs. Thank you Dave for being brave enough to come on and share them.
I hope it gives me and everyone else a more solid clue to where these experiences/beings come from and where they go.
Are they experienced in more times of turmoil or fear?
Please give details to your impressions of how these different situations made you feel, such as fear, awe, peace or anything in between or if your instincts sensed anything before anything actually happened.
I have family who are registered Anishinaabe/Chippewa/Ojibwe so this is going to be a special episode for me.
Thank you

I’m really looking forward to this!

I must thank Wes for allowing me to come on the show. I haven’t shared too much of what has happened to me cause I’m afraid of the backlash I might get. I spoke on things that some may consider to be bad to speak of. but I wanted to talk about it just to share with mr Germer about what happened to me and my beliefs. I was surprised when he said he was going to record as I had originally just reached out in hopes of having a conversation with him! it was a big honor and I apologize in advance if I sound nervous or anything in my interview! I’m hoping to share more with everyone who is interested in the future. the Quinault Nation is a hotbed of activity smack dab in the middle of the coastal rainforest. I appreciate you guys for the encouraging words and support

I’m so looking forward to hearing your experience and learning more about your beliefs. Sad that so many people are afraid of negative responses, but I do think that the SC community is a supportive one for the people brave enough to come and share their encounters. I’m really looking forward to learning more about the Quinalt Nation as well!

I see where Dave and many witnesses are coming from though. Sometimes it brings more negative energies around by doing things such as speaking certain names, whistling, gifting or being preoccupied with thoughts of such things.
Other times the experiences are so unbelievable that you feel at risk of not being believed and then embarrassed by others that don’t understand.
I also think there are instances (such as my own experiences) that I won’t share in detail because I feel it would give people information to run with, then take those ideas and create believable hoaxes that are easily done with modern technology.
Sometimes the witness wants to keep some details withheld for personal confirmation of a legitimate experience that may happen later to someone else or themselves.
I appreciate any new tidbit of info, especially when it was part of a culture before modern technology or internet. It already sounds like Dave has various similar encounters to myself so I’m really interested to know just how similar they were. Pumped!
