A listener writes “I live in East Tennessee. While I have had several sasquatch encounters, I am writing about something that I saw the first week of March. I was coming home from work.
I didn’t have to pick my son up that day so I decided to cut across country and save a few miles. It was about 3 in the afternoon and sunny and clear. There is a railroad track that you have to cross. On one side is open field and the other is several acres of woods. The track is built up in between. While crossing the track I was looking to my right and saw what looked like a black pool of water in the middle of the tracks at about 100 to 150 yards away. (Sorry, I’m not good at estimating distances).
I watched it flow up and over the tracks and down into the woods. The best way I can describe the movement was like “Venom” in the movie but smoother somehow. I have never seen anything like this and just wondering if anyone else has.”
Spoke to the witness and she said “I am not sure what I saw that day. It was so big and it moved like water, it was so smooth as it went over the train tracks. I grew up knowing about these things. They were on my grandfathers property. He used to feed them. I would tell Grampa that a man was watching me in the window at night. My grandfather took me to feed them and he said he was feeding stray dogs. He put the plate down and this big hairy arm came out of the bushes to grab the dish. I was terrified of them, my grandfather told me if you don’t hurt them they wont hurt you. I don’t think believe that. What I can tell you is whatever crossed those tracks was different than what I saw growing up.”

Oh boy another scary episode I’m looking forward to hearing 😃

Yikes. Black water moving over a track sounds awful, like sci-fi of the tenth degree. And it sounds like it has a brain because it was moving and living, had motion etc. I have never heard of the black water thing before. Thanks for coming on the show. Thanks Wes.

I saw the Doobie Brothers in the mid 1970s, Saginaw Michigan Civic Center. One of my favorite bands of all time.
