Upcoming Show: He Was Screaming At Me

This weekend Jeremy will be coming on the show to share an encounter. Jeremy and his children were on a hike when a large creature charged them. Jeremy said “We tried to leave without being seen because there was more then one of them. As we tried to leave that’s when they saw us. I have never been so terrified in my life.”

Jeremy writes “Hi wes, I’ll keep this as short as possible. Me and my two kids last year around July 4th went on vacation to Northern Wisconsin. We usually stay in a cabin on a lake for a week.

We like to go to lake Superior in Michigan.. and we travel around the area looking at waterfalls.. we heard about this place called lake in the clouds I believe it’s one of the highest elevated lakes in the United States.. after we stayed and looked at the scenery at the top of this mountain we left and about a mile down the road there’s a river and this waterfall I believe it goes into lake in the clouds.. I’m not exactly sure but I believe it does or it might even go into lake Superior lake In The clouds is extremely close to lake Superior.. from the parking lot to the waterfall was about a 2 mile hike.. we decided to walk upstream and just do some hiking after about 1 hour of relaxing at the site with I guess you call them big boulders not just rocks.

We had a very terrifying encounter with what you call a Sasquatch I guess I believe it was a family of Sasquatch.. it killed a deer it looked like it prayed over the deer after killing it noticed us and the leader or the dad/father / husband Sasquatch came charging at us.. it was horrifying after this encounter me and my kids were really never the same since that happened.. we have talked to a counselor/therapist which actually helped a lot talking about it and my daughter still goes to this day.. my friend told me about your channel I don’t know 6 months ago maybe longer.. and after a hearing some of other people’s encounters I talk to my kids about contacting you… Kids told me I should not give real names.. so I would like our names kept out of the story… I think it will help me talking to you.. I truly believe the therapist / counselor believes our story… I could care less if she did or not… I’m just rambling on so I apologize there’s only a couple people we told about this.. but if you would be so kind to get back to me I would appreciate it thank you and thank you for helping many other people

It’s definitely beautiful in that area but don’t forget it’s also wild. I’m within a couple hours of this area. Just yesterday my gal and I took the dog in the woods for a walk, and after a while she says “I just saw a deer!” pointing down the trail… I immediately noticed they weren’t deer, it was a pack of coyotes or wolves, maybe five that I actually saw (hard to tell how many as they were running in dry grass and brush on and off the trail).

It didn’t bother me as were talking loudly the whole time, then I noticed they just stopped and stood there, staring at us… Getting a little too ballsy for my taste, then started coming towards us.

They probably saw our dog and were hungry (predators usually are), so I had no choice next… I summoned the power of my ancient ancestors and let out a tremendous “HYAAAAAAAAAA!”, it scared the ever livin’ out of my gal and the dog, and I saw her dramatically flinch at the sound, the dog then immediately stuck tight to me, shaken.

After that, I immediately fired a warning shot safely into the ground in the nearby woods as the wild dogs couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Some may say it was the shot that scared them off, and some will never know, hehe.

After that I holstered said holder of the freedom seeds (after checking the safety of course😉), apologized for the massive blast (meaning my voice 😉) and for scaring the bejezus out of my companions. Next, In a calm manner we exited slowly out of the area and with my weapon unloaded and holstered (my big boy voice😉) I returned to normal soft spoken voice. With blackberries still in bucket and bucket still in hand for the evenings cornbread, we exited the woods, laughing and talking the whole way back (except for the dog, she was still freaked out. I don’t know if she ever heard me yell before to be perfectly honest, poor thing).

And to this day, on a quiet night, you might hear the wild dog howl or yip way off in the distance, then… HEEEYYYYAH! You get the ever livin’ tar scared right out of you 💩… But don’t worry, it’s only me… I did that. 😂

Moral of the story is: Just be safe, get some training in whatever you’re doing and where you’re going so you can be confident and prepared when you’re in the woods, it isn’t called the wild for nothin’. When you understand that, you can relax more and truly appreciate it.

The reason I both shot and shouted is just a safety measure. You don’t know who might be in that area next with their pet as well… My intention wasn’t to harm the wild dogs, just make them think twice before they get brave around people, pets and possibly even their children, in the future.
The big mistake is when people try to make predators pets or get too comfortable with them, it doesn’t always work out for everyone. Look at all the big snakes down south that were once pets, or Grizzly man and his girlfriend for crying out loud. That tragedy could’ve been avoided. 🙏🏼

It’s wonderful to have a kind heart but life isn’t always rainbow’s and unicorns pooping skittles… Knowledge and wisdom are good to have as well.
    🙏🏼🌞❤️

    This actually did happen yesterday
