Upcoming Show: Encounters while hunting

A listener writes “I have had a lot of weird things happen to me in my life, but one of the weirdest was seeing a sasquatch in 1970, while deer hunting in New Mexico. I also saw another one in the exact same area 2 years later deer hunting. I also would like to tell you my story and my nephews story about what I now believe was a dogman. I am 69 years old, I am also 1/8th Cherokee. I live in southwestern Oklahoma. Thank you”

I can only imagine all the people that saw a dogman/werewolf during the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s that couldn’t tell anyone because they thought they were the only one that had seen such a creature and who would believe them? Finally in the early part of the 21 century people were reporting creatures like the Beast of Bray Rd. or the Michigan Dogman and they may have realized they were not alone. But how many were haunted like Pat’s nephew and suffered in solitude and questioned their own sanity? Sad….

It is very hard to talk about my nephew, I feel bad that I never really understood what he had seen. But we can’ change history only the future, and I hope this helps someone else who thinks they are crazy and can,t talk about it. I couldn’t talk about what I had seen either , except I told my husband and my brother. I never told anyone else until I was 55 years old. I developed an ulcer from it. I have never went hunting again, and I loved camping and hunting.

Pat, I am so sorry about your nephew and I can understand why it’s hard for you to talk about but you didn’t know about these things either so I hope you do not blame yourself. I agree we can only change the future and you are definitely helping that by coming forward. Thanks for telling yours and his story it’s greatly appreciated!
