Update: I spoke to the witness yesterday and his mother and father went into great detail about the creature that was hit. He said that both his mother and father talked about the sounds the creature made and how his mother knew it was in pain. The witness has agreed to come on the show.
Original Post:
A listener sent this to me and I am trying to get more information. I hope he can give me a description of the animal. More to come. He writes “In 1970 my mother worked for the Bureau of Land Management. We lived in Carson City, my parents had property of about 80 acres, me, my two brothers and my sister worked for my parents.
My mom subcontracted out to the Bureau of Land Management for the Wild Mustang population.
My dad told me how him and my mother one evening got a call of a large animal that was hit by a maintenance vehicle for the California Department of Roads off of Donner Pass up by the Lake Tahoe Nevada California side.
When they were called, my dad rode along with my mom, this was the first of January and there was snow about 3 to 4 feet high. My dad rode with my mother to this accidents that happen on Donner Pass, early that morning.
My mother had a truck and used to do her veterinarian work out of it, it had no lights and a winch. She got up to Donner Pass where the accident happened and the Department of Fish and Game were there. She was told that the animal have been hit by a snow plow and it was injured and might need to be put down.
My mother had to go over to where the animal was laying on the side of the road and it was screaming and was making some very weird noises. My mom estimated the animal to be about 700 – 900 pounds and about 11 foot tall, she’s sedated the animal with her air rifle. My dad said she was preparing another round of oxidation for the animal just in case they needed it.
My mom was told by the fish and game officer to talk to the CHP officer, he was not feeling well and my mom laughed and said “I’m only a Veterinary but I will talk to him” well he was not coherent, my mom said, he was behind the seat throwing up.
The California highway patrolman was the second person to the scene of the accident as my mom examine him she said that he needed to be transported to the hospital. She said the snow plow operator could not stand and she had to stay with him.
My mom took 3 pictures with her Polaroid for her proof so she could do her billing and while they were tending to the driver, my dad was getting the tranquilizer ready for my mother to shoot another sedative. While this was going on nobody was keeping an eye on the animal.
My dad said when they turned their lights on to make another round at the animal and examine it……it was gone and my mom said she was sure it had a broken leg.
The fish and game officer told my mother that they had a flatbed truck to remove it from the roadside. My mother gave the fish and game officer the pictures and her report of the incident.
Two days later my mom was tending to a Wild Mustang that was hit buy a car, up by Virginia City and she was stopped by a fish and game vehicle and was told not to discuss the incident with anybody.
She never heard anything more from fish and game. My mom and dad we’re discussing this maybe 20 years later and told us kids about the night of this accident off of Donner Pass in 1970.”

Interesting story. It probably left the scene on all 3 legs.

I’m wondering if the dark they used for the medicine in it hadn’t adverse effect on this animal instead of knocking them out it is just ain’t enough for him to get up and crawl away did they notice any footprints in the area, did they notice any drag marks in the snow, did they not notice anything in that short a time. I’ll tell you what happen you know the Bigfoot come from another dimension so where they are now they were left back in the Ice Age so they come through to our side to hunt and feed and then they go back over to their side that’s how they can disappear so fast and people don’t realize they’re methodical you know Legend of mystical animal that’s why they disappear so fast when you seem in the woods that’s why all the pictures are blurry they make it that way and you wonder how they always get away so fast but that’s how they just go back to the room to the other side where they came from and when they’re hungry again they come back to the room onto our side and they hunt and they see and they have their young here and then they go back only explanation I can come up with and to me as far-fetched as some of the other stories I’ve heard I think my theory is a good one thanks

Dart I meant and realm for room. I was speaking my response so it didn’t pick my words up right and I hit post before proofing it, duh

Did I understand there were pictures taken for billing? So,Wes, please ask the burning question of where are the pictures today because no one said officials confiscated them. This gentleman’s mother being a vet was certainly able to know the difference between a it being a bear or elk. And, did his mom or dad say anything more about the driver; as in ever seeing or hearing about him after his trip to the hospital? Thank you Wes. You are so good at what you do.
thomas w
she said she turned in the pictures along with a report for billing purposes
Cecilia F
Third paragraph from the bottom of narrative.
SantiamLady
I sure would have casually slipped one of those “billing” photos into my pocket! ? ? Nobody confiscated them…….he said mom turned them in with her report for the Billing. ? Which is no doubt why the MIB looked her up later on and ordered her to be silent about what she saw that day.
It sounds like, if a broken leg was its only blunt force trauma, & barring a fat-embolism from a broken femur, it might survive if it had help from a Clan to help it and feed it.
Being such an enormous creature, it was almost certainly a male, the Alpha of a Clan that was nearby, and they probably assisted it to crawl away quietly when the humans were distracted by the violently ill snow plow driver (infrasound to create distraction?).
SantiamLady
And, I don’t think mom and dad would have failed to notice a big flatbed truck loading up the injured creature! They were lied too, obviously. One minute it was laying there…..they take their eyes off it for a couple minutes, and it’s just gone? Nope…… it either crawled away quietly, or its Clan assisted it to crawl away, while the humans were distracted by the violently ill snow plow driver (infrasound?).

This is an interesting story. After all the decades of similar stories and being a career LEO, I don’t take much at face value though. I wonder if anyone has back checked the available information/stated facts to ascertain the veracity of the party relating the story and as such to be able to assign a level of credibility to the event. Should be easy to check information such as employment records, the existence of an on-call vet with the BLM in that district, and a snow plow/animal accident (presumably a reportable accident level of damage given the size of the vehicle & animal, and the plow was owned by a government entity which means a paper report had to be filed). All of this should be public record information as everyone & everything involved was employed or owned by a government entity and the accident happened on a public roadway…

wes can u pull the freedom of info act and if all or some pieces fall into place, get this person on. i also want to hear the forest fire story about the burned and injured bigfoot that came to workers and firefighters and submitted to them for help for the injuries a few yrs back. i have only been able to find very few details on this acct. mt st helens perhaps? thanks
Charles R
First If this happened, and I have no reason to believe it did not – they do get hit – all records would almost certainly been cleaned, but still an avenue to explore – just never know.
The burned bigfoot originated with a letter or email to the bfro in 1999. This took place during the Battle Mountain, Nevada fire in the 1990s. I think the bfro might have taken down all info. on this unless it is still stashed in the forums. I am a forum member and will look this week. If you google battle mountain fire bigfoot their are several articles about this and discussions from different sources. The Bfro has always maintained they think it may be true just because of what transpired between their investigator and the witness that came forward which I think was a fire fighter, but their are also reasons to say maybe not.
SantiamLady
Yes…..and it will be lies. When have we known Goobermint agents to officially report Sasquatch or Dogman incidents????? ?? They don’t. To the Public, they consistently lie and intimidate and cover up. They don’t ever tell us the truth.?
Eric B
The most interesting part of this report to me was the symptoms experienced by the first responders. Neither could function in their normal capacity. Infrasound baby!! Loss of balance and explosive vomiting are both symptoms that are attributed to the use of infrasound. If the sasquatch was laying in the ditch with a broken leg and still was able to render the 2 first responders helpless then that explains what sasquatch has that our Gubmint wants……and explains the cover-up and continued secrecy.
If the Sasquatch was able to renew its strength while in the ditch and rally to escape then it also follows references made by Dr HA Miller(if authentic) in the Miller document about Sasquatch having a “Rapid Reparative” process. I hope Wes can flesh this out and maybe get some answers.
SantiamLady
Oh yeah! ? I forgot about that ‘rapid repair’ ability from the Miler Doc! Yes, that could have assisted it to pull itself together and crawl away, as well as helping that individual’s long term survival! But, I still think it’s Clan was nearby, waiting for a moment of human distractiblity……or perhaps causing it by infra sounding the hell out of the snow plow driver……and then quickly dragging/carrying the injured fellow away.

And I asked myself the medicated art that they shot into the Bigfoot maybe help tell me his pain enough to get up and scratch away but my theory is that got an open Vortex you know they can go back and forth to different room they were left back in the Ice Age so there’s nothing there for them to eat so they they transport over to our side and they hunt and they feed and there were there you know there were no prints left in the snow there were no drag marks in the snow or the thing got away after it was hit and veterinarian darted it and all this other stuff so that’s my theory I like my theory it makes more sense than anything else I’ve ever heard and for it to just disappear in a matter of seconds like that goes to tell you something. Just like the one I saw I stared at him for a good 40 seconds and then he takes them down the hillside with a black trash bag in his hand and he was gone there was nothing else left of him to see that’s just how fast I can disappear. And the pictures you see there are always blurry that’s the way they make it they don’t want you to see him they have special powers that we’re not even aware of

Lol…Gubmint!

Simply reading the original post above doesn’t reveal any reactions or emotions related to the creature. I would think everyone would be in total amazement/astonishment whatever words apply here to the presence of this unknown massive creature. He states his mom was “laughing” about interacting with the other person, putting myself into this situation, I would be stunned and trying to maintain composure and being professional. She gave it an injection? The creature was that incapacitated to actually inject it with no fear of harm from the creature reacting yet with no one watching, the creature that was said not to exist, gets up and leaves? No one was watching the creature? How many incidents involving a fire and /or accident we see many people standing looking in the background, yet a bigfoot is there and no one saw it get up and leave? Never made a sound, 9ft – 900 lbs, severely injured yet seems to vanish? Hopefully there is a lot more detail to present and discuss about this episode because it doesn’t pass the smell test to me. Just my opinion.
SantiamLady
The account says she used a dart gun to sedate it. She was a Vet familiar with Vetting large wild animals. (Mustangs, etc….) Nobody would try to give a wounded Grizzly an injection by hand? and this guys smart mom didn’t either. ?
SantiamLady
Also, remember some people laugh when under a lot of stress. Many cultures laugh at funerals. As humans, we have four different ways to cope with mind numbing stress.
1) Freak out!? Screaming, weeping, incoherent. Not helpful in the emergency!
2) Shut down. Sit and stare into space. ? Also not helpful.
Neither of these two options is in the tool box of a professional responder. I am a Responder, for nearly 30 yrs now, so I know this. As a Responder, your mind simply won’t allow itself to go there, as it would make any bad situation worse. You can flip out later, on your own time, but NEVER during the event. If you freak or freeze during the incident, you just became a liability to everyone around you.
3) Crying.? I’ve seen this happen with Responders, but always afterwards, never during. I’ve broken down myself, but always afterward, never during.
4) Laughing. ?Tremendously common way to release stress among Responders. It is why Responders of all stripe are famous for having ‘gallows humor’. We do. We have to to stay sane, and it beats alcoholism any day! We’ll laugh at things that would turn most people’s stomachs. Not because we’re gross people, but because it’s the only healthy way of releasing the pent up stress. Kinda of like the old TV Show, “MASH”. Best example of ‘gallows humor’ ever! ?
As with weeping, it’s best to wait til after the Event is over to laugh, but some situations are just so mind-blowing that the overwhelming stress just has to be released immediately. That said, NEVER laugh when a human Patient is involved, as that would be horribly disrespectful to that person, but no living human to overhear us, and laughter will often bubble out of us as we struggle to contain whatever mess has happened.
Eric B
It says she tranquilized it with an air gun from a distance. She did not go up and inject it with a syringe. That sounds like standard protocol with a large, dangerous, injured mammal. Ive seen them do exactly the same thing with injured bears that they didn’t want to approach. 20-30 feet away is a hell of a lot better than being in arms reach. Also this was an unusual circumstance with 1st responder plus the witness(driver) being down and needing assistance also. I can see how they might think the injured animal isn’t going anywhere and they can work on the people first.
SantiamLady
Absolutely! You must assist the humans first! Give the wounded creature a sedative, which she did from a safe distance with a dart gun, and then tend to the humans til stable and ready for Transport. Only then do you turn your attention back to the Creature. A first responders rule that would have worked in the Creature’s benefit, allowing it unnoticed time to either slip away on its own, or for its Clan to assist it to do so.
Gene P
Wes I know its very difficult to get witnesses on the show, but could you try to get multiple witnesses of this incident on at the same time?
Frankie P
re: upcoming show on this… Whoop! This is incredible that any of them will come on and discuss it. Can’t hardly wait. Wes – you rock!
Lou V
Can’t wait to hear this one! Anyone ever see the show Boonies?? Those people had to run into these creatures and or dogmen no?
Jacqueline O
Hey Lou, did you notice that “Mr. Personality” vanished like a cloaking sasquatch…check out the forum for Ep. 206… 😉
Lou V
I did notice and our conversation with him was deleted? But only ours? Wonder why?
Jacqueline O
I think it “disappeared” because all of our comments were part of a thread started by “Mike Alpha Tango Tango Papa”. Perhaps there was no other way to delete the original comment without the replies as well…but I don’t really know???
Lou V
That’s a good thought that’s probably it because we certainly didn’t insult anyone. That guy was weird and mad about nothing.
Pat T
Patricia S. , thanks a lot with the sharing of the knowledge you possess from working as a first responder. All that you’ve pointed out regarding these types of situations and how they’re practiced sure does make a lot of since.

Sounds like an intreaging story . But my first glance at it seemed a little melo dramatic. Like not one person watched the 11 foot 900 lb creature between trank rounds? Like the two smoking hot females having a pillow fight when a home invasion happens and them girls run straight up stairs while dude with a ski mask and chain saw Chase behind them…and if this creature needed pics for the billing invoice someome took the trouble to grab a camera but didn’t unload all film and have multiple shots from multiple angles?? Sounds like everyone involved with a Bigfoot vs. Snow plow crime scene were all a little to laz and non-schalent about this adventure …I’m hoping there are details I missed that will be cover on the show so I’m still looking forward to being proven wrong
