A listener writes “It’s a bit strange for me to write this, but I came across your podcast a year ago or so and I’m hearing odd similarities to something I saw on the side of the highway.
It was between 2007 and 2010, in the beginning of May. I timeline this based on a spring jacket that I owned at the time. It was around 9pm at night on highway 402 between Sarnia and London Ontario. My father was driving me to the bus station in London to catch a Train back to Toronto.
It’s a very large agricultural area with lots of farms and lots of spots of small forests.
My sighting was pretty simple, I saw what I thought was a man wearing a big, fluffy grey winter coat, with the hood on. The face was noticeably darker than the coat/hood and he seemed surprisingly tall.
I remember being very confused on why someone would be standing there and wearing a big winter coat in May. Believe it or not, the only thing I could think it would have been was some ghost of a person who died on that highway. I remember seeing it and thinking that, made my stomach sink.”

I would say if you felt I’ll thinking what you saw was a ghost, then maybe you’re truly just afraid of death yourself and consequently being stuck here in some kind of purgatory… And no matter how big you wish to make your impression now amongst the living, in that realm you might just be watching the living pass you by, really going places on their own journey through life. In this case I suggest looking into getting more faith as a solution.
Or… It was some big dude without a lick of common sense wearing a big poofy coat in warm weather. In this case, I would suggest not to let your imagination run so wild… (If coming from London England) could be a side effect of jet lag.
…..or…
Maybe even a homeless/hitchhiker person who was sleeping next to the road in a grey sleeping bag zipped up to his chin, who stood up hearing an approaching vehicle, looking for a ride but couldn’t get unzipped fast enough to get his thumb out 👍🏾.
In this instance… idk, could’ve been a good deed to stop, could’ve been an axe murderer. Instincts are a wonderful thing.
Lastly, maybe what you saw was a Sasquatch… And that’s a whole nuther’ animal and a whole nuther’ rabbit hole to get lost in. My advice here is… You can save time and simply refer back to my first suggestion and effectively find comfort, wisdom and guidance for all these aforementioned scenarios and not worry about things so much…God bless;)

Oh ok, I see now you said London Ontario and not England… Let me change “jet lag” into “car sickness” then:)
Ron S
Don’t judge!… Sometimes you gotta touch things up or add something in when you step back and look at it again. Me switching the word of an illness around is no different than Bob Ross putting in another happy little tree.
I even did my best impersonation of Bobs quiet whispering voice when I corrected it… “There”…
Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about either.:D
Have a great day full of joy everyone!
