I grew up in the lower hudson valley and remember one night at dusk my father called me outside. On the street about 10 of my neighbors were all looking up at a large triangle shaped object that moved through the sky making no sound at all. It seemed pretty low so this was even more weird. It slowly moved northwest across the sky and disappeared out of view.
