A listener sent this to me and the tracks he found are interesting. He writes “I am a trucker and I ran across these prints last night in Dublin, VA. Tell me what you think?”

They look pretty squatchy to me. Some more info on them would be great like location ( besides Dublin), stride length, etc.

my guess would be a trucker wearing sandles. melt would explain the large size. Looks pretty convincing though. If there was more toe definition i’d be more swayed.

Bill B. You make some good points but I feel that if it was someone wearing sandals there would be no toes show up at all. You can definitely see where the toes are, although they are smudged somewhat. You are right, melt would explain the large size, but who’d be wandering around in the snow in bare feet? I’m no expert, but I think they’re real.

Definitely shows individual toe prints and common shape. One looks slightly different than other which may help show legitimacy or well done hoax. Hard to say with what we know, if real I wonder if any hair to collect for the hell of it. Thanks for sharing either way.
bill b
yea they certainly could be real, and i don’t want to sound dismissive. The sandals theory comes from my own past career as a truck driver. Trust me when i tell you that seeing a truck driver in sandals in the middle of winter at a truck stop, would not be anywhere close to outside the norm. haha. I guess my point of view is that there isn’t anything that completely cancels out the human possibility.
I suppose i am simply assuming here, but if the implication is true that this is at a truck stop, bare foot prints wouldn’t even cancel out the possibility of a trucker taking a bathroom break. Truckers can be a very strange, and sometimes unsanitary group of individuals.

Snow prints are tougher for me to take as sasquatch tracks because of how easily they can be distorted by the wind and sun. I completely understand that this has almost definitely caused me to write off legitimate prints (maybe even in this case).

Sure looks like pretty good ones, and there are squatch sightings there. Thank you for taking the time to send them!

how many thin truck drivers do u know? its not uncommon as well for a person nowadays to have huge feet…im 5’9″, 160 lbs with a size 13.5 shoe. truckers are known to hop from one truck to another at night for…company, so a large, rotund trucker barefoot wouldnt suprose me…i wouldnt second guess this if i saw it. where were the tracks headed? thats the $2.00 question.

Richard R

Looks real. Sandals? No.

thats about 45 minutes from me

Thomas, you are looking for the actual 911 call. I will try to find it online and post it to the forum. I found it just the other day. I think the call was in Wa. state.
As for the tracks, I think they are very interesting. Va. certainly has had a lot of sightings. I would be very interested to know the location and how many there were. Also, if they were in a somewhat straight line. Appreciate you sending to Wes.
thomas w
yes Jan, the actual call. I swear I heard it in an early episode here. And thank you!
Janetta V
Well I’am convinced its a bigfoot, Who the heck else would be walking barefoot in the snow.

Mid-tarsal break is present by the looks of it, and seem proportional, so I would suggest these are genuine too.
